Should I clear jee advanced exam to attend iist exam?

Candidates must clear the JEE Advanced exam.

General category candidates must score at least 20% marks in JEE Advanced i.e 73 marks out of 366 and at least 6 marks out of 122 in each of the three subjects

OBC-NCL candidates must score at least 65 marks out of 366 marks and 5 marks in each of the three subjects

SC, ST & PD candidates must score at 10% marks i.e 36 marks out of 366.

It depends on your reservation category and admission rank. Admission rank will be given by IIST based on scores obtained by applicants in JEE advanced. Based on admission rank list generated by IIST you are invited for counscelling.

Can I get Admission in IIST after completion of my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering?

Hello,
IIST offers Aerospace engineering, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences and Physics & Maths. I don't think so that they aceept lateral entry as I checked on the official website. You also can go through it and check yourself and if you get clear with your field then it will be great because I don't think so if Mechanical gets all along with these fields. Hello,
You have to clear JEE Mains and after that JEE Advance with a good eligible score for this university.
In year 2017 also it was from 50-54 closing marks for JEE Advance for eligibility. So look forward to that. Connect back for more queries.

got 70 marks in Mains having sc qota,is it possible to get IISC aeronatical or aerospace engineering

Hey Ravi, I couldnt find any such course at IISc Bangalore. It is an Institute with research fields focussed so no B.tech courses are offered by them. Infact, the only UG program they offer is Bachelor of Science. You have scored less marks in Jee mains but still you can look for other engineering colleges offering this course. Since you have sc quota you may get some advantage. College infrastructure is very nice they still providing good libraries and food WiFi with internet.Ac classrooms will be there in college.sports facility will be there Indoor and outdoor games with be there in campus

College Infrastructure

The college is a well equipped one in terms of necessary infrastructure of the academic and non-academic domains of its body. The academic body is having a big tech based central library, well equipped laboratories of different fields. The lecture halls are big, smart tech based. The whole campus is served with a super fast WIFI services. Hostels are big and well maintained. There is a central gym, sports court, recreation hall, amphitheater, basket ball court, cricket ground as part of sports.
