All the JEE Advance qualifiers are eligible for the admission in IIST. Only those candidates will be there in rank list who have secured required minimum marks in exam as well as in each section. For General it is 20% of total marks, for OBC it is 18 %of total

i will suggest you to atlesat score 55% in 10+2 to get admission in iist and if score more than this than it is good for you. the chances of admission become higher as you are obc you will definitely get the seat. all the very best/ have a great

I think that with this score you don't get IIST however I have also last year cut-off rank for IIST and according to it your rank must around 3000.

for iist you must clear Jee-Advanced other-wise you can't apply for iist.

Secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced)-2016 as given :

General Candidates (GEN): At least 20% marks(i.e.74 marks out of 372) in aggregate and at least 5% marks (i.e. 6 marks out of 124) in each of the three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).

there is no chance to get a seat in this college with rank like 48-49k.

you should score rank under 6k for that.
