IIST offers admissions to its programs based on 2 method. One is through JEE Advanced and other through seperately preparing IIST Rank . Following are the cutoff based on IIST rank in 2020.

In IIST Thiruvananthapuram , there is no specific aeronautical engineering course but the sub domains are present and the relevant course fees are as follows :

• M.Tech Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics - 1.67 Lakhs  (0.837 appx. per year)
• B.Tech Aerospace Engineering- 5.48 Lakhs (1.37 per year appx.)

There are no such health requirement for student regarding the admission to the IIST course. Now professionally being an Aerospace Engineer or Avionics you have nothing to worry about the minus eye power.
