The percentile which you have got is on a averafe side and the cut off are very high for iit and nit so you give another try in april session amd try to secure more marks.

The qualification is just you need to qualify the JEE mains and after that you have to score the minimum cuttoff marks / rank in JEE Advance for the respective branch in which you wish to enter in

Dont think of branch change in iits. Due to a large competition it becomes difficult to change branch. Choose your branch related to interests and not due to packages.
