Since IITH is new and the branch you are talking about is metallurgy there are no 100 percent chances of placements. But since it is an iit you may apply for any off campus but make sure for the in campus first. Hope it helps. Any queries are welcomed in

Does IIT Hyderabad accept KVPY SCORES

No, it doesn't accept KVPY score. It takes admission through JEE Advanced exam for engineering course.
