Course Overview

Foundations of Cognitive Robotics certification is an associate presentation by Swayam, NPTEL, and IIT Kanpur. The inclusion of robots directly from the industries to the social arena has been rapidly advancing with the functional requirements of corresponding behaviour of humans increasing day by day. To meet this demand, the course has been prepared. In order for the robot design complexities to be processed, the course has been made to give an overall idea of this topic.

Foundations of Cognitive Robotics training is a short 4-weeks duration course with 14-course modules that are designed for striking a balance between streams of engineering, biology, and control system design for attracting people towards the interdisciplinary fields. This certification has been curated free for the participants except for when they require certification. Also, this postgraduate level course is an FDP one that has secured the approval of the AICTE council under the government of India.

The Foundations of Cognitive Robotics certification fee by NPTEL, and IIT Kanpur, is free. The exam fee of Rs. 1000 is optional which is charged by Swayam for the proctored exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

One mandatory criterion is that the students must have studies some elementary, i.e. school-level science courses.

Certification Qualifying Details

Foundations of Cognitive Robotics certification by NPTEL and IIT Kanpur is presented only when the average assignment score is 25% out of the 4 assignments on average, and the final exam score is 75% out of 100 in the proctored exam. The final exam and assignment scores are considered together for the final certification.

Swayam requires the participants in filling personal details of the candidates. These details are only the full name, mailing address where a verification code for proceeding can be sent further, The candidates may also use their Microsoft accounts for signing up.

Evaluation process

The end certification is for only when the applicants have paid Rs, 1,000 and attended the examination, by receiving 30/75. Only clearing the final exam isn’t enough as the certification demands the students to clear the assignments by getting 10/25 on an average of 4. Irrespective of getting the pass marks in any one of the exams or assignments will not be enough and shall cancel the chances of securing the final completion certificate.
