Course Overview

IIT Kharagpur has developed the Managerial Economics programme to teach modern microeconomic theory at the UG/PG level. You will study the behaviour of households and firms and the interaction between the two to understand the interaction in different market structures.

Eligibility Criteria

Participating in the Managerial Economics online course only necessitates you have a basic knowledge of Calculus and Algebra.

Certificate Qualifying Details

Moreover, your final certification score will be determined by adding 25% of the average assignment score and 75% of the exam score. You must take the proctored exam and submit all eight assignments on time.

Only the best six assignments out of eight will be considered for the average assignment score, which needs to be at least 10/25 or above. At the same time, your exam score cannot be less than 30/75. You will be awarded the Managerial Economics certificate once you meet the two criteria successfully.

Evaluation process

Swayam will release a registration URL and announce the proctored exam dates. You must fill out the online form and appear for the exam in-person to earn the Managerial Economics certificate. The exam will be held at designated exam centres in two sessions – morning (9 AM – 12 PM) & afternoon (2 PM – 5 PM).
