Hey,
The exact prediction about the colleges is difficult as the cutoff changes every year depending upon the difficulty level of the question paper, the number of candidates appearing in the examination, category of the candidates etcetra.
Since you have not mentioned your category,so it is difficult to predict your chances.
However, you can use our GATE College Predictor to assess your chaces of colleges:

Hope this helps.
Good luck.

The cutoff for ICT/CS in Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is given below-
CategoryAll India Cut-off by rank
General 1489
OBC 4568
SC 7494
EWS. 1982
ST 28961
PWD 16808

Hi,

There is no cutoff rank of JEE Main in Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University for any field.
A merit list is prepared  for admission in PDPU with the All India Quota. The selected candidates have to take part in councelling.

The admissions is also decided on the basis of GUCET rank.

HELLO,

I suggest you PDPU Petroleum. Pandit deendayal petroleum university is a very old institutions and has a better record in placements and Academics. PDPU has started ICT in 2017 only, so the scope there is not understandable until the first batches pass out.  Petroleum is the best branch in PDPU. But ICT is relatively too. It had very good placements last year. PDPU is good for studies as well as overall development.

HOPE THIS HELP!

Hi,
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is a very reputed institution in Gujarat and in India as well the choice of field really depends on your personal interest.
If you like a desk job and 9 to 5 fixed schedule with a constant and steady source of income then go for ict
If you like programing and exploring the world of computer science then I would suggest you to go for computer science.
if you are interested in something different and unique then you should go for Petroleum engineering in that you would have a lot of site work and planning including studying geographical physics, if you are not interested in a site or a more csite and processing engineering side of job then you shouldn't take petroleum.

DAIICT will conduct admissions on the national level and on Gujarat state level. The admissions on national level is through JEE Mains rank while for Gujarat level is through ACPC. There are two branches. One is ICT, and the other is ICT+minors in Computational Science. For ICT with CS, you must required 99.8 percentile and for ICT you required 99.5 percentile i.e. rank upto 300.

Hello Aspirant.

No, your chances of getting admission into ICT Mumbai with this much percentile is extremely difficult as students who are able to get a rank under 28,500 are admitted into this college for the above mentioned branch and as per your percentile

Rank=(100-percentile)*8690.10

Your rank comes out to be around 45,000-45,100.

So it's difficult for you to get this college and that too for this branch.

Best of luck

To get into Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai college, the cutoff was around 167 in 2018 for Chemical Engineering Btech course so you need to get around 175/180+ to be on the safer side to ensure your seat into this college. Other option that you've if you are a Maharashtra Resident then it's by scoring around 170+ in the Mht-CET examinations.
