Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello,
SASTRA take admission for stream 2 based on the normalized aggregated marks +2 or its equivalent marks. This is for 30% of the total seat.
A first rank student of each board is considered to have obtained 100% mark and aggregate mark of all other students of the board is normalized with reference to that of the first rank student. For example, if the first rank is 97% and an applicant’s aggregate is 90% then the applicant’s normalized percentage is 92.78 (90/97 x 100).

Hello Preet, It seems you are interested in applying for admission at ICT. You haven't mentioned your caste in the question, so I assume you belong to General category. Well, admissions at ICT are done on the basis of performances in MHT-CET as well as JEE Main. Well, as per the previous years' data, in 2019, the cutoff rank prescribed to get a seat for any stream at ICT, Maharashtra was around 2948 via Maharashtra CAP All India Counselling while the same was around 4459 (for Female-General candidates) via Maharashtra CAP Home State Counselling.
If you want to know more about the cutoffs from previous years' data then visit this page: https://www.careers360.com/university/institute-of-chemical-technology-mumbai/cut-off
If you want to know your eligibility in various colleges based on your MHT-CET performance, kindly check out MHT-CET 2021 College Predictor:
If you belong to any other category kindly comment down below.
I hope you find this information helpful.
Thank you and good luck!

Hello,
The admission is done based on rank in MHTCET. But the cutoff for ICT is higher every year. You won't get admission on 80 marks.
You need to score at least 140 and above to get a seat in this college.
Your percentile range must be 98-99+ in CET.
So you need to try to score in this range to get into this college.
Hope this will help, All the best.!!
Hello,
As you are talking about SASTRA UNIVERSITY then obviously it is your AIR rank which is 1200. So in that case sastra university offers you the streams like ICT, CIVIL, BIOTECHNOLOGY, ECE, CHEMICAL and some integrated courses.
CSBS is a new course but sastra does not offer that one.

Dear aspirant,
As far as my knowledge and view for this college is concerned I would suggest you to take IT branch rather than ict because in these type of private colleges it won't be beneficial for you to take up lower branches.
In terms of placements it branch has a better average package and it is around 6-7L as compared to the ict branch. The faculty for both the branches are very helpful and supportive.
For more information you can check out the link given below-
Dear Prathamesh,
Since you have not mentioned I am assuming you to be from general category. 38 percentile means a ranking between 634000 to 710000. With this ranking you have no chance of admission in Ict college Mumbai.
