Hello sir,yes sir he can apply for niits And IIITS Because these are based on the board exam percentile and jee mains rank.so your son got good percentile in board exams he can apply for it but if your category belongs to general he will get seat in mining, metullurgy,etc..like

Congratulations for performing well in Jee main Examination in 2019 according to previous year cutoff you can get admission in IIIT raipur in spot round of 1 or 2 in electronics engineering

If you are getting BITS-Hyderabad campus with Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering 4 years then you should go for it.

Rest you should ask yourself what do you want..what department are you interested in. If you are interested in that..you should go for it!

Is the above mentioned rank your open category rank or is it your reserved category rank?

If it is the former, then you can very easily score an admission in any institute of your choice with your desired branch.

Looking at your rank, it will not be possible to get in IIIT, Bhubaneshwar and on top of that you are from general category, so it will be hard.

I can provide you the previous year cutoff for admission to All India seats in IIIT, Bhubaneshwar for general

First of all your board percentage is below 75% . If you are from cbse board then you are not eligible to apply josaa counseling , so you can't get seat in nit ,IIIT and any other gftis .

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good. There is are many natural nd artificial artifacts present inside the campus. The buildings are very much well maintained and the grounds are also very well maintained.

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
