Dear aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. As per your query the IIT Naya Raipur is the best amongst your list of IIITs. It holds a rank of 7 among all the IIITs. Then comes IIIT Bhubaneshwar which holds a rank of 12 and at last IIIT Kancheepuram which comes just after the former and holds a rank of 13. The placement of these IIITs are also ranked in the same way. Other facilities rather than this are more or less same. Hope this helps!

Though, it is very new institute

IIITD&M Kurnool is a very new college. It hasn’t moved to its permanent campus yet and is is currently stationed in the IIITD&M-Kancheepuram campus. This gives IIITD&M Kurnool access to all the facilities present in IIITD&M-Kancheepuram campus.

The coding culture is well established in IIITD&M Kancheepuram and the students from IIITD&M Kurnool can be a part of them as long as they stay in the current campus. The faculty for IIITD&M Kurnool is different from the IIITD&M-K faculty. Some courses for which Kurnool does not have faculty is handles by the faculty from Kancheepuram.

Hope its clear.

Hello student

Considering your rank in general category and previous years statistics, its nearly impossible for you to get admission in electrical engineering or CSE in some good IIITs but you can try for new IIITs. As the counseling process can be at times be very unpredictable.

However, if you have homestate quota in some new NIT, then i guess you stand a chance.

All the best

Hello,

IIIT Gwalior closing ranks are always getting lower with constant improvement in its course, campus and naturally getting old. This year also as the first round and second round closing ranks are out we see more or less the same trend. As the closing rank is around 6.6k in round 2, I hope you have got your other lower preferences. The IIIT might close well before it last year closing ranks. Yet you might get in last round i.e 7th round due to many student opting out of a 5-year course. My prediction is that it will be a borderline case and closing rank can be anywhere between 7.3k to 8k for OBC-NCL. If you have already got another seat, you ca very well wait till special rounds for that particular course if you want. All the best for your future. And to answer your secondary question, no there is no increase as such in seats for EWS in IIIT Gwalior.

Thank You

Nit stands for national institute of technology. IIIT stands for Indian international institute of information technology. And Gfti stands for government funded techinal institute. There are 31 Nit, 23 IIIT, And 23 gfits. In general, NIT are superior than the other 2. Nit are much reputed than Iiit and Gfti. In short, NIT>IIIt>Gfti

Well, I know it sounds bit awkward but owing to yourcategory and PwD reservation you have a great chance to get into the medocre NIT.

As, since PwD candidates clearing the JEE mains, are so small, so many of their seats are left vacant, holds true for even at top NIT's.

So, I would recommend  you to explore your interest and to find which particular engineering branch suits most to your interest.

Hence, I would recommend you to fill the JoSAA counseling accordingly. Don't hesistate yourself from filling the choice of even top NIT, as nobody knows when the destiny falls into your fate.

Thank You

Hi yadav

As per your performance and percentile in jee mains 2019 you have may get iiit through the counselling of josaa because you also come under certain reserved category i.e obc therefore you should attend the counselling.

hello aspirant,

iiit lucknow has no fee waiver scheme.

iiit kota provides 20% of tution fee waiver to sc/st/ph candidate.

you need to check the official websites for further details,.

First of all if you are unwilling to go out of Kanpur for higher studies then either you should have not participated in JOSAA counselling or should have scored enough to get admission in IIT Kanpur.

I mean if you have already made up your mind then there is no point in telling you merits and demerits of some college but HBTU is way better than IIIT Ranchi which runs from temporary campus in NIT Jamshedpur. But consider some NIT if you get it as most NITs are better than HBTU.

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.
