Hi aspirant,

All the colleges mentioned by you are top notch private colleges known for their engineering programs. In terms of order we will consider various factors like ranking, better return of investments, placement records and the coding culture out there. So so I will prefer to go with following preference order:

  1. Vellore institute of technology ( only at Vellore or Chennai campus)
  2. Amrita college of engineering ( Amritapuri, Coimbatore, Bengaluru campus)
  3. SASTRA College
  4. Manipal institute of technology (Manipal campus)
  5. Kalinga institute of industrial technology
  6. SRM college of sciences and technology ( Ktr campus)

Hope it helps!!

Hi aspirant,

Yes, you can choose IT if you don't get CSE in phase 2 or 3 of KIITEE. According to the guidelines released by Kalinga Institute of industrial technology the results for this year would be prepared only after the conclusion of all three phases and will be based on best of 3 format. So students would be given a chance to take admission in their preferred branches on basis of their best performance out of three phases.

Hope it helps!!

Hello STudent,

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology is near conducts KIITEE to provide admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate course. The official authority  willrelease the cut of marks soon separately for UG and PG courses.

Actually in a simple way a percentile indicates the percentage of the people below your rank or position in the examination. As your personal is near about 9, that means only 9% students are Scored less than you.

From that you easily can know that, this is such a low percentile, with which you cannot get any e seats. You can go through the article to know about previous year cutoff

https://university.careers360.com/articles/kiitee-cutoff

However you also can get into Kalinga Institute of industrial Technology, through the management quota where your percentile doesn't matter, you have to pay a donation amount to the college to get admission there.

Hope this will help you

Hi aspirant,

Kalinga institute of industrial technology recently announced the the results for phase 2 to off KIITEE in which day mentioned the percentile of candidates in the conducted exam. The percentile represents the the percentage of students who have scores lower or equal to that of yours.

Hope it helps!!

Hello shubhannita,

Chandigarh University and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology both are the very good Private Universities in terms or Infrastructure, faculty, Environment, Placement, but one this you should know that CU was established in 2012 and KIIT was established in 1992, so KIIT is much more older than CU that's why KIIT have the large brand value and strong Alumni network and great bonding with multinational companies for the placement.

Chandigarh University is still growing ( rapidly) and KIIT is already grown to provide the best facility, so if you are getting both KIIT and CU then go with the Kalinga.

Best of Luck!!!

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have got 95 percentile in kiits phase 2 and you want to take up computer science and engineering there. So,let me tell you as per the previous cut offs and system , all india rank were given to the candidates instead of percentile.

These things depends on conditions like the number of candidates appearing in the examination number of vacant seats, difficulty level of the paper and number of vacant seats in the college.

In this percentile as per my knowledge you have good chances to get the IT branch or ece branch if not cse

For college cut off of previous year you can check out the link given below-

I hope this answer helped you!!

College Infrastructure

The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
