Dear student,
Definitely you can get admission in KIIT through management quota, although the cost for your case will be very high then as compared to others. If you appear for its entrance examination, then the fees would be less. Therefore, it is possible to take admission in kiit Bhubaneswar without giving its entrance test.
Hi Candidate,
SU- IIT Burla is known as or simply referred as Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT) which is located in Burla, Sambalpur. The college is a private institution which provides various courses such as B.E/ B.Tech, M.Phil, M.E, M.Sc, M.Tech, PhD and other courses too.
KIIT stands for the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology which is also a private institution located in Bhubaneswar and which under the Kalinga Group of Institutions.
In my view, considering both the college and keeping the average fees and the placement package in mind, SUIIT Burla is better than KIIT.
Rest is your choice!! Hope that this answer helps you.
Hello Mate...
As from KIIT return is not high as compared to fees you pay there so doing bachelor's there and then going USA or any other country then it will become more costly and if you are getting seat in SUIIT burla then you should pass from the college with nice cgpa and for doing masters out of india it is a fabulous idea.
I would suggest that USA is coostly as compared to more different colleges and countries, many countries like germany, Netherland, New Zealand and like this countries college are very nice fees is very less there so you can take a look at that.
B.Tech CSE in KIIT vs B.Tech CSE in SUIIT , Burla interms of AVERAGE/MEDIAN Placement Package ? As KIIT is NOT WORTH After PAYING 21 Lacks we get 4.2 LPA Average/Median Package , but in SUIIT After PAYING 3.92 LACKS TOTAL FEES , we get 3/4/4.5/5/7/8 LPA ? Please Help !!!!!
Hi.
Since you already know the statistics for both the colleges, your question seems to have come at a cross road regarding the logical choice. So, clear few things first:

Hi.
KIIT Bhubanshwar
Highest salary offered is 30LPA by Amazon, average salary is 6.5 LPA and majority of companies are tech giants such as Microsoft, Adobe, Hansa Solutions, HP Inc, IBM, Cognizant etc. and their main focus in CSE Students. Sine there is no exact statistics available for CSE, only overall placement information can be provided. According to some online peer reviews, CSE has almost 95% placements, infrastructure is nice along with Hostel Wifi facility and other facilities are available as well.
IGIT Sarang does not seems as promising as KIIT. Median salary stands at 4 LPA, The highest package stands around 9-11 LPA.
If you have a specific question then please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck.
hello,
According to you i totally agree with you. KIIT Bhubaneshwar is a costly college with the average package of around 3-4.5 LPA. It almost costs 22 to 25 lakhs for B.Tech courses. And if you see SUIIT its one of the IIITs ofcourse you will get higher package than kiit if you work hard. If you see how much you input the money and how much you get back as output in every aspacts SUIIT choice is far better than KIIT
all the best
Hi,
Consider these points while deciding:
- The amount of fees you are paying Vs. the amount of value that degree holds
- College reputation
- Opportunities available to you at both places
- Academics and Faculty
if KIIT is offering a higher median salary then it is also charging a higher tuition fee. Being a private college KIIT can afford to arrange better facilities for your money and also arrange better placement seasons for its graduates.
If you go solely by reputation then a government college might be good but usually, any government college which is not an IIT or NIT is not that revered outside and the only benefit you get is affordable fees and a sense of self satisfaction. Think of your fees as an investment and decide whether going for a college which offers better facilities takes priority in your mind over a state college which is affordable but not much else.
best of luck
Greetings,
le me get a few things out of the way:
- Private universities, being as resourceful as they are, many a times offer better placement opportunities to its students
- State run government universities while may lack in the placements department have better reputations.
with that said, the avg. packages offered at SUUIT can range around 4 lacs per annum and for KIIT it can range around 6 lacs per annum. On the surface the decision appears simple, since KIIT offers more salary then it must be worth it, right? Well, look at these factors also
- How much fees are you paying at KIIT vs. how much is the jump in salaries
- are you confident that given the opportunity you can grab a high salary package at KIIT (which has more competition, and more number of students per branch)?
How to decide then?
- KIIT can offer you better internship opportunities and a lot of national level events to develop and hone your programming
- SUIIT will be more affordable and the competition won't be that large given the small student body as compared to KIIT.
- fees
- reputation
- opportunities
- your potential and confidence
decide on these factors where you wish to go, do not rush it though.
good luck!
Hello!
What I would advice you is to go with KIIT Bhubaneshwar. VIT Vellore is one of the best choice but getting a seat in the 5th category is not worth it. You could have rather used the money for studying in abroad. By taking KIIT Bhubaneshwar you can pursue your Masters, in the same amount which will be used in your bachelors if you opt for VIT in 5th category.
VIT campus gives us an wonderful life. but still getting that in 5th category is not worth it.
Choose wisely, ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
Thank You
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you haven't filled your choices in the specified time for some personal reasons.
I don't think they allow to fill the choices again as the time for doing so had passed . You should contact the admission incharge or whichever contact number they have provided you and ask them if you can fill your choices again.
Kiit has excellent infrastructure with a world class campus spread over a large area. The classroom are spacious,air-conditioned and equipped with smart board and modern teaching facilities.Laboratories are well maintained.
I was consistently impressed by the expansive and highly organized campus, which feels like a fully equipped technical city. The Electronics and Telecommunication department had outstanding laboratories with current instruments for circuit design and signal processing. I appreciated the excellent air-conditioned classrooms and reliable network connectivity, essential for my final year projects. I believe the infrastructure is exceptional.
I find the campus facilities absolutely stunning and incredibly vast, which I love exploring. The biotechnology department has state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, which is essential for my dual degree research. I appreciate the comfortable hostels and excellent centralized library for my late-night studying. I feel the college maintains a premier physical environment throughout.
