hello aspirant
For every new engineering student it is the difficult task to choose engineering college. And among Graphic Era university and Kalinga institute of industrial technology I suggest Graphic Era University. The CSE stream is the best stream every student want to opt. The Graphic Era University has the best faculty and the teaching is excellent. And the faculty here is Ph.D holders. The 99% of the students are placed at the time of placements. This college has the NAAC grade A and the deemed university.
i hope this could help you.
thank you
Hello Dev bansal, All the colleges are best for cse but I think in all perspective but KIIT is best in placement infrustructure and all field but there fees is more in compare of JIIT and SRM, But I suggest you personally that do not go for SRM if you have option for JIIT or KIIT.
Hope it will helpful for you :)
Hey there
Average salary of students at KIIT of CSE is around 5 lpa as per latest placement notifications and maximum salary offered is 39 lpa.

Good luck
Hi
Kiit is one of the top private college in Orissa. It got 44 rank in nirf ranking in overall category. It got 42 rank in nirf engineering category. Various NITs are below kiit. The curriculum, academics, infrastructure is very good. But on the other hand it is also expensive.
You have to give JEE, Bitsat and mhcet. Through JEE students get selected for JEE Advanced and if they clear they get into IITs. Also, through JEE students get into NITs and IIITs. Bitsat is also a good option but there are 150 questions to be solved in 3 hours which is quite difficult. If you have believe in yourself that you can perform well in JEE and BItsat because the current pandemic has done serious harm to students preparation, you will have to give a hold to kiit and do your best in JEE and Bitsat. If you believe that you can't do you can join kiit and accept the books an study material from kiit. This is the decision you have to take according to your preparation of entrance exams.
hello there!
It is better to choose VSSUT, Burla because although KIIT and VSSUT have their own brand name, but what matters is the legacy and ROI in which Burla excels.
In VSSUT, if you get CSE regular course, you have to spend 112K for 4 years only, as Hostel fees and odd semester fees is 15k while even sem fees is 13k. So you spend hardly 2.4 lakhs for 4 years total i.e course + hostel fees and here placements for CSE is nearly 90%, rest 10% are those who are having huge number of backlogs, or go for M.Tech or MBA. So ROI is 100%, and average package is 4.5 - 5.5 lpa, recruiters are Mu Sigma, Intel, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Delloite, HCL etc.
Coming to KIIT, the course fees of KIIT for one year is more than the total fees of VSSUT for 4 years, i.e 3.4 lakhs only for course fees for 1 year in KIIT and 50k for 1 year hostel fees. So overall you spend 15.6 lakhs and you may not get a decent job, rather end up getting a job of 3.6 lpa in Infosys/TCS/Wipro etc. Your ROI is less than 20%.
In the end, VSSUT is not a brand , its a legacy since 1956.
i hope this helps
goodluck!
Hello Aspirant,
As per the current scenario of COVID-19 it is very uncertain to predict anything until and unless it is been announced officially. Till now there is no any confirmation that whether you have to report physically or online your reporting and other process can be completed because due to present circumstances different colleges/universities have chosen the process of online reporting.
But for KIIT nothing has been announced officially, but yes when the seat will be alloted to you, then you will receive an allotment letter which will consists of further instruction that what you have to do after this.
If not then please wait for further instructions from Institute, you can check it out from the official link given below :-

Good Luck!!
Hello Ayan,
I don't know about that properly but my 4 friends studied in KIIT. So I asked them and one of my friends based on experience you don't get new room but is depends on the management. Or if you want to change your room/roommates you can written apply for hostel warden. But you need to solid reasons for the changes. Or it is often to negotiations.
I think you have get your answer. Good luck.
Hello,
In KIIT, there is separate hostel for boys and girls. Each hostel is provided with separate reading room and facility for outdoor and indoor games. The fees for two-bedded AC room is INR 60000/- per semester. Apart from this, students are required to pay one time admission fee of INR 15000/-. Also, if you wish to avail premium facilities such as attached toilet, then you are required to pay an additional amount of INR 10000/- per semester.
Hope this helps!
Hello student. Both are colleges are pretty good in terms of faculty and opportunities and exposure. But in the placements, cse in JIIT is all the time better college than KIIT. More average package and better placements are seen in this college. If you get a cse seat in this JIIT, my suggestion would be to go for it.
All the best
The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
Yes, college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels (for eg. WiFi, smart boards) All were present Very good infrastructure Living space was clean and the fod in the mess was good
The infrastructure is really good. Many trees surround the entire campus. College has all the necessary infrastructures, facilities and equipments. Classrooms have smart boards which make teaching-learning process more advanced.
