In order to ensure that the underprivileged candidates do not leave pursuing higher education due to financial problems there is a provision of fee waiver for them. These are as under.

• There is a fee waiver of 100% of the tution fee for SC/ST and PH candidates.
• There is a fee waiver of 100% of the tution fee for General and OBC candidates whose family income bis less than one lakh.
• There is a waiver of 2/3rd of the tution fee for General and OBC candidates whose family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh.

In my opinion you should go for mtech in geoinformatics at IIT Kanpur rather than information security at mnit allahabad. Because IIT Kanpur has better ranking than mnit allahabad also the placement records based on previous years support this fact.

Being one of the topmost NITs, the cutoffs of MNIT Jaipur is quite high. But if you are a general category student, it would be quite difficult to get MNIT Jaipur as the seats get filled within 40,000 rank. There are various branches in Engineering, their cutoffs differ from one another. Another criterion is that Home State and All India quota. Even if this is in your home state quota, it will be difficult to get any of the branches in MNIT Jaipur. But if you belong to any reserved category, there are few chances. The cut-off rank for MNIT Jaipur for CSE was 1721 for OBC under Home State Quota. Now, for this rank, you need to score atleast 98.5 percentile, or 99.5 to be on the safe side. The exact percentile cannot be said since the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

MNNIT Allahabad and MNIT Jaipur have similar academic curriculum and both are located in prime cities with good accessibility to the city and other facilities.

Overall there is good competitive environment in MNNIT Allahabad and various tech and cultural clubs. College life is also good as students are talented and from different backgrounds. The placement statistics of MNNIT is, 7.5 lacs per annum average package and 38 lacs per annum highest package.

MNIT Jaipur also has similar features with good environment and facilities as per Government colleges, there is a decent coding culture in the campus and good college life. Average package recorded last year was 8 lacs per annum and 39 lacs per annum highest package.

Out of both the colleges they are reputed and have good academic and placements record, but one must give priority to MNNIT Allahabad over MNIT Jaipur.

No you can't apply for this college if you haven't given the exams like CAT/ GmAT. As this college considers entrance like CAT, XAt, GMAT, MAt. So, you are not eligible to apply for this college.

You can fill form of those where college conducts its own entrance test for MBA. According, to that you are eligible to get Admissions. And still if you do not want to go for these exam, you can take admission directly also. Some college do offer.

It is difficult to indicate the marks and percentile as cut off changes depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam, highest score etc.It is not clear whether you belong to OBC-NCL or OBC-CL.If you belong to the latter you will be coming under general category.In 2019 the general cut off for other state quota for Civil engineering in MNIT, Jaipur was 24422.For OBC-NCL it was 7283.Considering this you need to score 98 or above  percentile and your marks must be above 220.Cut off in 2020 may increase or decrease.

If we calculate your expected rank by the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100 it is going to be around 141040.Where 869010 is the total count of candidates who appeared in January session.Your category rank is expected to be in between 8000-10000

In 2019 the cut off for admission in MNIT, Jaipur for Civil was 2314, for CSE it was 929 for SC home state category,MNIT, Jaipur does not offer IT.So by this with rank in between 8k-10k it is difficult to get seat.You need at least 95 percentile to get such rank.You may have to prepare for JEE Main July session.However, cut off in 2020 changes depending on number of students appeared, number of seats available in that branch etc.
