Now in short if your percentile is above 98+ then you may have a decendt chance of getting into this institues.

Hey!

MNIT does not release the MAT/ CAT/ CMAT cutoffs as such, so it is a little difficult to confirm.

But a percentile of around 99 in MAT is required to get admission into MNIT. This percentile will help you to get shortlisted through MAT for MNIT.

So, it may be a little tough for you to get admission here.

MNNIT ALLAHABAD is a very good and reputed NIT so in order to get admission into this college you would need to work hard. Since you have a obc category and home state quota so you have a upperhand.
now looking into the previous year cutoffs the percentile required for general category would be 99.6 so according to your category it would be greater than 98.5+ just to be on safer side well if you manage to grab a percentile above 99.6+ you can get into almost all top NITS .

chemical engineering in mnit jaipur is much better than of other nits. The placement for the course is good as well as the placement cell is excellent at the mnit jaipur. As far as the infrastructure and the academics is too good than the many nits of the country.

Aditya , Although it is difficult to predict the exact ranks currently as the April  Jee Mains session has yet to take place and the actual ranks could be known only after that. However, you can predict your expected rank by this formula:-

(100 - your total score) X 869010 /100.

Also, If the number of candidates for April exam get increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100

In your case the expected rank comes out to be around 18596 .Note that this is the General or All India rank and not the category rank which is very difficult to predict at this point of time.

Now, with regards to your admission chances at MNNIT ALLAHABAD, you have a good enough chance to get some branches such as Production and Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering and also small chances to get Civil Engineering based on your category considerations, However, getting the top branches such as CSE, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc. would be very tough even if you belong to home state and your category is OBC. However, you have a very good percentile and you would get many state level colleges and so you should also opt for state-level counselling.

since it is very difficult to predict the exact rank but we do have a backup. we have a formula to calculate the expected rank that is (100 – Total percentile) x 869010/100.

So according to formula your expected rank for present percentile for January session comes out to be 3649 . Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session. For ex if 12 lakh candidate appear the april session then just replace 869010 by 12 lakhs. But if you score above 85 percentile then you have a very decent chance of qualifying jee mains.
