Manipal University like most private colleges has no reservation based on social strata (i.e., Caste Reservation). However, it doesn't mean people who fall under any reserve category can't apply or not be selected.

"No Reservation" only means equal opportunity is given to all students based on their merit and other factors such as lower caste, backward class play no role in admission process.

See I would say if you wish to do MCA and want to have a good career ahead then you can choose any of the two universities. But if you compare the scenario of placements and the curriculum then I would recommend you to go for NIT Karnataka over Manipal University. NIT Karnataka have a better curriculum of MCA compared to Manipal University. If you go to NIT's, it add value to your CV as well as you will get more opportunities to discover different fields of CSE  and thus you will have a better possibility of getting job with higher packages as compared to Manipal University. NIT karnataka have better median packages than that of MU.

Today is 29th July when i am answering your query and as of today the St. Xaviers College Mumbai has clearly mentioned on their website that all admissions to first year BA and BSc will begin only after the University of Mumbai gives schedule for the admission. You can visit college's website regularly for further information regarding the same. So, the BA forms are not out yet and there is no date announced for the same so you will have to wait for it.

No, you cannot just skip the 1 round and enter other as there are some norms to be followed for admission into this university. While booking the centers for MU OET, you are also requested to book the counseling venue. Only those students whose ranks are included in the counseling reports are allowed to enter the counseling round. At the same time, you have to fill the registration form and seats are provided according to it.

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

• Infrastructure
• Curriculum
• Faculties
• Placement

The colleges you have mentioned are of similar standards but there are very slight differences. If you want to take admission among this two then I would recommend you to go for Manipal University because both the college may have the same type of infrastructure but the curriculum in Manipal for CSE is better than GEU. Also Manipal University offers training sessions and competitions in order to develop coding skills in students. The teachers are very well experienced and the placement cell is also good compared to that of GEU. So if you wish to take admission in this two then I would recommend you to go for MU, Jaipur.

**I would highly recommend you to conduct a research by yourself then only take decision.
