It depends on number of participants and it varies every year. 350 is more than enough to just get into Manipal (main campus) if you aren't aspiring for any specific branch, you'll have a choice of just 2 or maybe 3 branches if you're lucky whereas you'll have multiple options at manipal jaipur because the cutoff here is much more relaxed than the main campus.

Hello,

Among these three mentioned college's, I suggest you to choose Thapar. Because college has  Excellent records for placement.Computer science placements are over 90 percent. In the season of placement all the big tech giants visit the campus. The highest offered salary package was 38 LPA and the lowest offered salary package was 3 to 4 LPA.The college was visited by various companies such as D-Shaw, Ibm, Rurick, Cisco, Texas Instrumentation and San-Disk.A placement cell is available, and it is extremely effective. College Infrastructure is very good when compared to othern mentioned college. It has a campus  which extends over 250 acres. Present pursuing students and alumni students told that  College has a very nice infrastructure. The conference halls are absolutely A.C. The hostel is good enough to support wi-fi services at acceptable rates. The food standard will be 7/10. The laboratories are nice with the requisite equipment. The library at Thapar is one of the best places you can visit and learn at any time. The college fees is  on higher side but if you really work hard and get job in campus placements alone then it is worthy. Because college provide various resources to get you the job. So it's you who have to work hard to make your spent money worth of it. Thapar college has received Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)  accreditation. Hence i suggest you to take admission some another local colleges dont waste your time in looking for du.

Hi Aspirant,

Placement is what KIIT is known for in all over India. There is almost cent percent placement record for almost 5-7 years. Last year nearly 2400 students got 3700 job offers. Nearly 200 students got job offers from 4-5 companies and the Royal branch i.e. KIIT school of CSE tops in the list of placement. Almost 94% students are placed till now. Most of the students are placed in service based companies and consultancy services. The highest package was 27 lakhs per annum and the average was 4.2 lakhs per annum. Students were offered all kind of roles including manager, developer etc. Although many companies have visited the campus for internships but nearly 25-30% students get internships and some of them got pre-placement offers also. The highest stipend was Rs. 70,000, the average stipend was Rs. 15,000 and the lowest was Rs. 10000.

Manipal is an old college while KIIT has not even completed its 20 years of its existence. But still KIIT has been achieving successes at more speed comparing to Manipal. The choice is yours as both have similar accreditation. KIIT has better accreditation than of NAAC(highest among self-financed institutes).

Thank You.

College Infrastructure

Manipal univeristy jaipur is a pretty solid place academically, but its not that great as well. Course structure is decent, professors are good, but like every other college, you need to put effort into it. Professors are really approachable. sports facilities are kickass. Library is amazing. auditorium and mess are 5 star. ofcourse they charge money for that. living space are luxurious, unlike BITS.

only for those with good enough money.
