The library at Thapar is one of the best places you can visit and learn at any time. The college fees is  on higher side but if you really work hard and get job in campus placements alone then it is worthy. Because college provide various resources to get you the job. Hi Aspirant,

Placement is what KIIT is known for in all over India. There is almost cent percent placement record for almost 5-7 years. Last year nearly 2400 students got 3700 job offers. Nearly 200 students got job offers from 4-5 companies and the Royal branch i.e. KIIT school of CSE tops in the list of placement. Almost 94% students are placed till now. Most of the students are placed in service based companies and consultancy services. The highest package was 27 lakhs per annum and the average was 4.2 lakhs per annum. Students were offered all kind of roles including manager, developer etc. Although many companies have visited the campus for internships but nearly 25-30% students get internships and some of them got pre-placement offers also. The highest stipend was Rs. 70,000, the average stipend was Rs. 15,000 and the lowest was Rs. 10000.

Manipal is an old college while KIIT has not even completed its 20 years of its existence. But still KIIT has been achieving successes at more speed comparing to Manipal. The choice is yours as both have similar accreditation. KIIT has better accreditation than of NAAC(highest among self-financed institutes).

Thank You.

Feel free to ask more queries.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, now it is possible and valid. Few days earlier UGC has announced that now students can do two degree programs simultaneously but the condition is that, one program should be in regular mode and other program should be in distance mode.

In your case, you can do BA in distance mode from University of Mumbai Institute of Distance Open Learning and B.Com (//B.Com) from any other college/university in regular mode.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
