Manipal University offers four year undergraduate B. Tech program in Computer Science & Engineering. To be eligible for the course student must have secured atleast 50% marks in Physics, chemistry and mathematics and must have passed 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject.

If you meet the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible for BTech Computer Science Engineering course. However, the admission to btech course is done on the basis of marks obtained in Manipal Entrance Test (MET). The course total fees is Rs. 11,86,000.

First of all, Manipal University and Sastra University are both decent colleges and have almost the same rating on various college hunt sites as far as Placement, Faculty & industry exposure is concerned with the difference being in the fees structure since Manipal has a higher fee structure.

Many companies visit to Manipal campus for recruitment including Accenture,  Amadeus Labs, Amazon, Aurobindo Pharma, , Bharat Electronics, BIS Research, , BluBirch, Bosch, CD Controls etc.

The comapanies visit to Sastra campus like Accenture,, Ascendant, IBM, TVS, TCS, Wipro etc. Mostly the mass recruiters.

The average placement of Manipal is however less than Sastra. Both of them have AAAA+ rating . One can get admission in Manipal via the power of money but as far as Sastra is concerned only the deserving go there. However Sastra has a strict code of traditions, customs, dressing style etc. At the end of the days we can only give you an idea and a gist of the reviews but the selection of the college is based on your stream and choice so please go through various links provided on careers360 as well as other college hunting sites and make the correct choice.

A score of 140+ would get you a seat . But this stats change based on qualifying marks but would remain near 140-150

• Click on Generate User ID and Password.
• Enter Your Enrollment Number.
• Select Password Hint and Enter the Password Hint.
• Click on Generate.

Now your New User ID is Generated.

Hi dear,

Manipal University has hostel facility for both boys and girls. The hostel is open from 6 am to 6 pm on Monday to Friday and is open for 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. The Hostel is fully air conditioned with all facilities.
