See Atigya, as reault were already declared on 25th april, but there is no declaration about the shortlisting for the admission. If you think as per your score you will not able to get admission in the Manipal university main campus located in Manipal, you can also think about the other manipal campuses. One of the other Manipal campus is in Jaipur and tye other one is in Sikkim.

But you have to wait till shortlisting of students. If you belongs to any category caste then its possible for you to get call for further process. After that if you're not satisfied and you have confidence to crack the MET in next shot then you can think about it.

MET exam result as already declared on 25th april, 2019. With the declaration of reault Manipal university had not declared any shortlisting for the admission.

Akhilan you have not mentioned about the stream in which you wish to take admission and also there is more than one Manipal campus in India, the colleges have different shortlisting for rankwise student.

The scholarship criteria of Manipal University for B.Tech is as follows:-

For rank 1-1000 in MET 2019 there is freeship. For students coming in merit rank 101 to 1000 in MET 2019 will get merit cum mean scholarship based on parents income:-

According to the previous year trends in Manipal University entrance test, one has to score about 550/800 marks to get admission in B.Tech CS branch. So it is less likely that you get B.Tech CS branch. The previous years closing rank for B.tech CS branch was 10867. But you can register for 2nd attempt based on first cum first serve at MUOET exam before 28 April 2019 to improve your score. The exam is scheduled from April 19 – 28 April 2019. As your score is not to high so you can't get the main campus. 

But the thing is that you can easily get jaipur campus and jaipur campus is also very good as it comes third after sikkim manipal university. 

I could not predict your rank exactly but you can get jaipur manipal university.

Yes, you can get "admission". You'll be able to secure a seat in Jaipur campus with those marks. However you might not get a branch of your choosing. Like for example, branches like CSE which have higher cut offs and are in higher demands among the students. The cut offs for CSE will be around 550-580, even 600 marks. You do have a shot at branches like ECE or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. If you want CSE, you can wait for spot round admissions and can opt for the same, provided vacant seats are left.

The opening and closing ranks for admissions to the branches and campuses for each category generally is considered as the cut-off. Candidates can check the cutoff to know if they stand a chance for admissions based on previous year trends. MET Cutoff depends upon factors like the number of applicants, the difficulty of entrance test, seat intake, and past year trends. The cutoff of MET will vary from course to course and institute to institute based on the preferences of the students and definitely not any other factor. So, there's no way to predict the cut-off as of now.

The result of MU OET 2019 (merit list) would be declared on May 4, 2019.
