The college is equipped with all the required infrastructure, facilities and equipment required for sound learning and provides a place for one to experiment and grow. The architecture is really really good and keeps the environment vibrant! Our classrooms are always equipped with hostel is equipped with so many fun areas such as a game room (pool, chess, carrom and dance area), squash courts, badminton courts & pool.
I am studying Electronics and Communications engineering and the reason I chose this was of the faculty members I met on the orientation day! They were beyond influential and told me I was a perfect fit for ECE. The quality of teaching is good and can always be improved. The curriculum is updated annually and includes latest subjects lik IOT, Data Science, Machine Learning. Along with that, our faculty constantly guides us to do MOOC courses to help us learn more.
The quality of placements in my currently growing. We're getting better companies and better packages every year. I think from our department the percentage of students placed was 100% as of last year. A variety of companies come and our placement cell helps us immensely throughout the process.
I'm currently very satisfied with my college and hostel. The high end facilities provided are worth the money spent. The quality is consistently good whether it is the education level, the guidance, the library or even the labs! State of the art equipment is used. As for the hostel, the facilities provided and events conducted helped me grow exponentially.
The campus life is vibrant and constantly budding with energy. It's best features are the curated events, clubs and infrastructure. Worst thing about it is the distance you have to cover to go to various auditoriums and sometimes classes. Students are always engaged in a variety of activities. Some are the technical clubs and some are cultural clubs. We have various fests throughout the year so everyone is always busy! It's very safe and emergencies are handled swiftly.
It's definitely a place to be! One can truly enjoy college life and get a quality education here.
MUJ has a beautiful and secure campus with very good maintenance of it. Apart from the appealing campus, the facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, equipped labs, resourceful libraries, recreational zones charm the students. WiFi is there for Btech students. There are many sporting facilities like basketball, football, badminton, swimming pool, etc. The hostel rooms have attached washrooms, air conditioners, and are cleaned on regular basis. The mess food is great with a varied menu.
The faculty of engineering is excellent, the labs are fully equipped with the latest types of equipment, the curriculum is up to date with field experience too. The exams are conducted on Digital Epads which shows that the college believes in advancement in methods of teaching. The teaching gives readiness for a job.
Companies like Microsoft, dell, amazon, google, Wipro technologies, JCB, optimus information, etc come for recruiting students. Recently, the college was given A+ by NAAC which will invite more companies.
The university is definitely a value for money since the facilities provided by the college are many and student-friendly. Facilities like medical centre (associated with Manipal hospitals), swimming pool, gymnasium, library, recreational areas, workshops, cafeterias, etc. help the students. The provisions provided help in the overall development of a student.
On a scale of 10, the campus life is 10/10. Events like TEDx, MUNs, sports fests, cultural fests, co-curricular activities, gymnasium, swimming pool, keep the students entertained and help in sharpening their minds. Staff and faculty are very friendly and helpful. The hostel campus has restaurants, basic needs shops, mini shopping marts, beauty salons to make students comfortable as the college is a little away from the main Jaipur city. Transportation is easily available to students.
MUJ is a dream college for any kid in India. It not only is great in academics but it has everything that you can imagine and at your footsteps. Yes. I am not joking. Our college has such a great infrastructure and everytime I look around, it makes me so proud and happy to be here. We have all the facilities around us. Be it air conditioned classrooms and hostels or be it the sports facilities, we have everything. And the food is so delicious. We even have dominos in our hostel campus! It's fun!
I am currently pursuing btech in IT. People aim for IITs for quality education and faculty but let me tell you what, MUJ is no less than any government college and the great thing is it's growing everyday. Our curriculum is great and we even have minor specialisations from 2nd year. Curriculum is updated every year depending on the reviews of students and it is obviously designed in a way that covers all the topics that we need to learn before we sit for placements. I am happy to have joined MUJ
Placements are good. But it still needs to invite more companies. Placements are totally fair. All those who have skills get placed and the highest salary package as of now is of approax 20 lpa who got placed in Microsoft. I haven't experienced placement yet but as I have heard from seniors, it's pleasant and obviously it tests your practical knowledge the most especially we computer geeks are being tested how we solve a particular problem in the best and shortest way.
Our tution fees excluding hostel is around 3 Lacs pa and I feel it's totally worth it because we get so many facilities and all the events and conferences are free for us here. We get quality education and such helpful teachers. Moreover we get free subscription to learning websites and apps and it's a great thing for any kid who wants to learns and grow. Even hostel facilities and food is worth all the money. It's 2 lpa but the environment you get is priceless. I am having the best time here.
Campus life is probably the best. We can indulge into so many cultural and technical activities. We have dance club, technical club, photography club, literature club ,fashion club, music club and sports club. Staff and teachers make us feel like home here. It feels so safe to be in this campus. Since the college is in highway, so expenses on going to the city is pretty high but rest everything is fine. Even medical centre is here and ambulance 24*7. It's great!
I joined this college with a lot of hopes that my life and personality would change and trust me, It didn't disappoint me. I am having the best time of my life. Not only my personality changed, but as a result my life changed in ways I can't explain. It's so wonderful in here. Although I know the fee is quite high but it's totally worth it!
The infrastructure of the college is one of the best in the country for sure. There are ample facilities provided to students of various streams. Library, numerous canteens and chilling areas, all labs, e-classrooms, business chamber, to name a few.
the curriculum is up to date and most professors are PhD holders or under the same process. There are numerous opportunities for research oriented students. Most teachers teach well although there are always exceptions.
The college puts in good amount of effort for placement of students. The SCIT school gets placed well although the core branches face some difficulties as the market demand is also poor. around 50% students get mass recruited.
the current fees is approx 5 lakhs INR per year for B.Tech students (this includes mess and hostel fees.) the academic fees is around 3.2 lakhs INR. It seems a little costly, but i found the standards high as well. For instance all rooms have a private bathroom and AC, night canteens are open till 2am everyday and the mess would not dissapoint you as well.
you will have the time of your lives here thats for sure. the college gives you enough freedom and one has enough liberty to enjoy.
just a small issue is the internet here, which is apparently going to be replaced.
Yes, college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and proper equipments. All classrooms have well conditioned with Air conditioner and smart boards and wifi etc. smart boards are well maintained . The food is hygienic in the mess.
I’m mechatronics engineering (final year). I opted engineering because i’m passioned towards being an engineer and upgraded more to the world. There is good quality of teaching because teacher are used to have quality of professinalism. They provide acute and easy to learn study materials.
Since i haven’t sit at the placement because i need to go for the masters. But i think placements are to be frank it’s good there. And almost 70% of students were placed. Salary package highest offered in our college is 20 lacs per annum. And it goes to computer science engineering. The average salary offered is 6lacs per annum. College is very supportive towards placement.
My mechatronics engineering cost me 10.50 lacs for 4 years. And the cost for a year is 2.54lacs per year. I feel money we spend is really Go for worth because i’ve enjoyed my college life with flying colours and it will be added a great pleasure of mine to be a part of MUJ. Good academics plus good over all curriculum is need to be good person.
College campus is great and infrastructure is too good and well maintained too. All toilets are cleaned. The cleaner washes the toilets everyday. Students engage themselves into sports activities, Drama activities, nukad natak plays etc. they have common room also which contains with indoor games like table tennis etc. students, teachers, and support staff like the everyone engage themselves in academics and over all curriculum. Location is great. Yes it can handle emergencies too.
Location is great. And our college and their management are trying to help out a village too and from that village many govt. school students comes by daily basis and our school provide aid to the village area and govt. schools. So college life there is to be great.
The college exceptional infrastructure. It is one of the best in india. It has all top notch labs. It also uses renewable resources and even have water treatment plants. It has won many awards for the infrastructure.
Well i am pursueing btech in mechanical engineering here and i am in my first year so it might be difficult to give you exactly what you are looking for but professor are phd and it provides with 3000 courses in coursera. And faculty wants student to do research.
As i have just completed my first semester here i really didn't know much about placements here. But this the placements have been good here. Microsoft took 14 students and we have major companies like dell, Phillips visit us
Well its one the costlier in the country. But i feel like they are realy to doing justice to us as there are regularly updating courses and promoting research. The university is really inclining students towards research.
College campus is a real treat. The main building which we call dome building is really beautiful. The hostel are has numerous outlets with over 20 outlets for students needs . We have numerous eating outlets other then are mess.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have necessary labs which have all the equipment. Classes are very well ventilated and environment here is very good. The campus is very beautiful though it is a bit far from city.
Staff is very good with their subjects. A few teachers may not be able to express in crowd but when in personal, they explain the topic very well. Curriculum is updated and upto the mark. I feel the curriculum is well oriented to make students job ready.
Currently I haven’t graduated so I can’t make any personal comments. Talking to seniors makes me feel that placement is decent. Placements in computer science engineering and Information technology are quite good.
The infrastructure of our University all the necessary facilities that a student might need to develop themselves in a better individual. The university maintains it's infrastructure on a daily basis. There's proper lighting in the classes also the laboratories are well equipped with necessary equipment. We have been provided with WiFi connection through out our campus. There's a mess in the university itself where we can have hygienic and healthy food
I'm have applied for Btech CSE at MUJ. The faculty over here are well educated and experienced in their fields. The curriculum is updated as per requirements in the industry. Infact our college gives us various chance to explore the field in which we would like to work
The maximum package for this academics year was 42lakhs which was of IT Dept. The average salary offered was 6.2 lakhs. The college is very supportive for our placement. Many students got into dream companies such as Microsoft
The annual fee is 2.8lakh.
We are provided with each and every necessary things at our hostel. We have three options -single premium, single and double seated room. In all kinds of room we have AC because of the weather. Our mess provides decent food. Our hostel also has its own library, recreational area, futsal ground, jogging track, basketball, badminton court..
Yes,the college has all necessary infrastructueres and facilities.Unlike most universities in our country, manipal university jaipur has well maintained and efficient infrastructure. Particularly the mess which is very tidy and clean and as hygenic as it could be.
I am studying mechanical engineering due my intrests in understanding motionand its application. The quality of teaching is average.A student would be unable to write an exam after only classroom study. However the curriculum is very much in tune with the working field.
As far as I have heard the placements are average and have much room to grow. The highest packages are around 25-30 lacs while average are abour 3-5 lacs. The university needs to bring in core companies to serve the plethora of students
Manipal University Jaipur boats of being most beautiful caqmpur in north india in it is the most beautiful campus , food quality is also very good and also the cleanliness is doing so far great work here .
i am currently in first year student in computer science school here and althrought university supports at quiet a good level but teachers are not satisfactory because they only teach by their notes and do not possess command on whatever subject they are teaching.
placements for computerscience and it are good but they do lack for other branches like civil and other for scit also only one big tech company arrives that is microsoftwhich also do not offer a good package
i dont thinkl that it is value for money because we are giving them money only for infrastructure there is no research environment , student only involve in wasting their time in club activities . also some people go for off-campus placements for a better hope
campus life is good only for those who want to waste their time in doing club activities , also your campus life is kind of determined by senior students there only a few students work for there development and others fake their abilities.
if you are getting a moderate govt college then go for it because muj is far away from jaipur so you can not take advantage of jaipur' research environment also MUJ is not worth-it of giving placements .
Hello Vishal,
With a score of
121 in MET 2025
and
86% in PCM board exams
, here's a general analysis:
Predicted Rank:
A MET score of 121 typically falls in the 15,000 to 18,000 rank range , though this can slightly vary each year based on exam difficulty and student performance.
Since MET does not officially release detailed rank-score data, this estimate is based on past trends and analysis.
Chances for CSE at MUJ (Manipal University Jaipur):
CSE at MUJ is one of the most in-demand branches, and usually the closing rank lies around 8,000 to 10,000 .
With a predicted rank around 15,000 to 18,000 , getting CSE at MUJ is quite unlikely in the initial rounds .
However, you may have a
chance in the later rounds or spot rounds
if seats remain vacant or cutoff drops.
Recommendations:
Consider applying for branches like ECE, IT, or Data Science , which have slightly higher closing ranks.
Keep checking counselling rounds regularly for any updates or vacant seats.
You can also look at internal sliding options after first year, based on academic performance.
I would recommend you to use MET College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Scoring 82 out of 240 in the Manipal Entrance Test means your r ank is likely to be above 40,000, based on previous years’ trends. Unfortunately, this rank is quite low for CSE Stream at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), especially at the main Manipal campus.
Manipal campus (main): CSE cutoffs are typically under 3,000–4,000 rank.
Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) and Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) may have higher cutoff ranks for CSE — sometimes up to 15,000–20,000 or more.
Hello Aspirant,
MET (Manipal Entrance Test) cutoff for an M.Sc. program at Manipal University is above 190. Candidates are advised to secure minimum 190 marks or above out of the total 240 marks. This will allow the candidates to have a higher chance of securing admissions into their preferred course and campus.
According to your marks, may be you wont get into your preferred course but these are possible chances that you might get another course and campus with this range of marks. The authorities will consider various factors while preparing the cutoff of MET 2025, such as the previous year's trends, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, the number of applicants, the total number of seats available, etc. The MET 2025 cutoff will vary as per the candidate's selected category, course and campus.
