My college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It also has clean living spaces and hygienic food. Classrooms are modern, clean and well lit along with the labs, library. We get WiFi over the entire campus and hostel.
I’m studying Mechatronics because of my interest in robotics and automation. The quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. We’re given industrial experience.
Placements are plenty and good. Many companies come every year during placements to hire a multitude of students from different branches. Personally speaking for my own field, they’re not that good and hence the reason for 4 stars.
My course cost per year is around 2.75 lakhs. I do feel like I’m getting my money’s worth due to the opportunities and workshops offered all year round.
The campus life is amazing. It accommodates people with special needs well and without being isolated. The students can engage in various activities like music, sports, dance, committees etc. the students, teacher and support staff are helpful and understanding. It’s safe and can handle it emergencies.
I’ve had a good time at this college and I enjoy campus life a lot. I would recommend this to students who want to try and branch out in their life.
The University has a great foundation when it comes to infrastructure. Everything we have on the campus right from classrooms to labs is definitely worth the pride and comparable to international standards.
I’m currently into final year Mechatronics engineering, and one thing for sure is that the curriculum is updated more often to impart the latest trends although at the end everything boils down to individuals ability to grasp and extrapolate information and knowledge and not being narrow sighted.
The placements have been good, and wide variety of companies come to pick you up. The packages offered are at par with industry standards and individual caliber. The training and placement cell provides a great support along with respective departments of different courses.
The university keeps updating the fee structure. So latest information regarding the same can be availed from the university’s website.
The life on the campus is amazing and experiential and teaches you a lot. The various happening on the campus helps to inculcate required skills which comes handy down the road. Overall you get good support from everyone around.
Muj has an outstanding infrastructure, with all the facilties that a university should have ,the famous dome building of the campus is designed by famous architect Hafeez contractor who has designed many remarkable buildings
I am studying btech civil engineering ,quality of teaching is good with an updated curriculum and a good chance of placement too University has also been accredited with a+ by NAAC .manipal maintain its prestige by doing good in academics
Good placements like l&t and ultratech cement visited the campus this year and in software side also good companies like Google ,microsoft, dell, accenture and many more participated in the placements this year
My course cost rs 5 lakh per year including hostel and the prices are valuable in terms of facilities
Manipal university jaipur is one of the best in terms of infrastructure. It has A grade facilities for everything, be it sports, academics, housing or relaxation. The Mess is also very clean and the quality of the food is much much better than what a general engineering college is expected to have. It gives 60 gb wifi to each student per month which is very awesome. The classrooms are of the appropriate size according to the no. Of students in each class. The hostel rooms are very spacious.
I selected ECE because i love the world of electronics and Manipal is really helping me go much deeper in it with its elite facilities like its labs and its equipments. The teachers of my department are so knowledgeable and are very supportive. The curriculum is also very up to date and it prepares us for the tasks we will face in the future in our respective fields. The quality of teaching is also very good, the course is upto date and is the real deal
As a first year i haven't gone through the process of placement but with what my seniors have told me and the banners of the companies I've seen, I can be 100% sure when I say that the college really does look after it's kids. So many companies come for placements. The highest salary package thisbyear was around 25 lakhs. And the average package give was 8 lakhs. The placement process is very efficient and ensures that there is no bias and everyone has an equal chance at grabbing a job.
In this domain my college is a little wobbly. The fees is more than the average fees of private engineering colleges.
The campus life is The Best anyone can have. We have around 6 badminton courts, 4 squash courts, 5 lawn tennis courts, cricket & football ground any many more gaming facilities. We have a very clean and efficient gym. The mess is very hygienic. The staff is the most friendly staff I've ever seen, they help us with everything and are very kind.
No doubt infrastructure of the MUJ is one of the best in India. All the classrooms and labs are very well designed and contains all the required and well maintained equipments. There are several spots for the students to chill and hangout. There are grounds of all sorts which includes cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis etc. It also had library which is not very big but it is average in size and has books related to all the subjects. The hostels are also well facilitated.
Overall course curriculum is good, faculty is fine. One problem you might face is quality of students. The quality of students is not that good. Teachers are cooperative and helpful but if we talk about career opportunities it might be less then your expectations. Basically, 1st year was quite intresting but you may face difficulty from 2nd year. But if you want to enjoy college life and you are fine with average placement then it is a good college.
Placements for Cse, IT and CCE is good enough although college is just 8 years old. Here almost everyone is eligible for placements and get the job with an average package of 4-5 lacs. Some good companies like Microsoft, Dell and Amazon visit the college. Placement of other branches is fine but not so good. Yo need to work hard for good packages.
The situation is 50-50 here. In terms of Money the college life is worthit but the academics are not. the academics of MUJ are very depressing as we focused on previous records. But yes the college life is very good and rich.
Camous Life at MUJ is so amazing. Here are so many things one can do to improve his/her personality. Various indoor game are there, you can go for swimming, and may also take part in various clubs fest and all. The cultural fest of the college ONERIOS is lit.
Yes it has all the necessary infrastructure. Well maintained Washrooms, library, various auditoriums, amphitheatres , laboratories. Classrooms are well equipped. Every classroom is air conditioned and has a projector. The whole campus is very clean and maintained properly
I am a 3rd year Btech Civil Engineering Student. The teachers are good. All of them are Highly qualified and very friendly. The curriculum is designed nicely and also covers a lot of topics that could help in exams like GATE.
The number of placements is increasing almost every year. The number and quality of companies coming for placements is also good. I am not entirely sure but the avg package one can get is 5-6lakhs per annum. The college also provides pre placement training to help the students in the placement tests and interviews.
Outstanding infrastructure... All necessary laboratories. Huge libraries And most important thing is hygiene.this college maintain utmost hygiene for student whether it's mess or classroom .. with good WiFi facility . Smart board and most important best sport facility.. whether u r in hostel or college ..
Manipal provide all PhD faculty for better understanding and good academic career as well as college provide Coursera platform to learn best courses from international universities. and for better experience in it stream MUJ started a new program for first yr students that is experiencial learning .. that means from first yr student get knowledge of their respective streams
These provide placements frm big construction giant company like . L&T ,RDC concret, ultratech, ambuja cement. .. even if first yr students want to internship in foreign country . MUJ is linked with great initiative IASETE for student u want to be intern in respective fields
I think it is worthy to pursue graduation from Manipal university Jaipur
Best campus life ... Jollyhood life .. In hostel with have different type of restaurant to dine out and hang out. With u gang??
I prefer that u should once have a college life like MUJ
College infrastructure is very good .. college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. There are all facilities in the classroom such as smart board,wifi,A.c. etc. And also they all are used and well maintained. Living space is also clean.
I'm studying civil in muj and the quality of teaching is quite decent..and if have any quarry about your academics or about your personal life then teachers also used help you out..and yes curriculum is updated and include recent developments in the field.
Placements are average, many well-known company's comes here for mass recruiting and product based . In civil branch the average package is around 3 lakh but because in civil practical knowledge is more important then your theoretical knowledge so on this basis placement fluctuates.and also many civil engineering students also prepare for government jobs because in civil engineering there are too much government jobs are available..
If you some up the averall money expanse of your 4 year b.tech it will cost you as normal as most private institutes takes.
These 4 years of college life are best days of your life and you'll never forget these days ..and when it comes to muj college life it's awesome...like"cheery on cake".
Overall manipal University Jaipur is very nice institute in all aspects..
Manipal University jaipur have one of the best infrastructure ,The students at MUJ have 24x7 Wi-Fi enabled in every classrooms, labs, auditorium and all are well designed and equipped with all the equipments requires,120 PC Central Computing Facility, Library at MUJ is adequately stocked with the requisite number of reference and text-books, there are 3 autitorioms and 2 open amphitheatre. Individual ground for cricket, football, tennis, basketball, vollyball, etc.
I'm pursuing Btech in mechanical engineering, The faculty is quite good, they make full use of projectors and other equipments which makes the learning process more fun, Syllabus is mostly completed on time.
Placement for scit that is computer Science, IT and CCE is good enough considering is just 8 years old. Almost everyone eligible for palcement get a gob though the average package is around 6 lacks. Microsoft, Dell and Amazon are some of the good companies thatt visiit college. Placement of other branches are also fine but package is not that good
I'm currently Pursuing Btech in Mechanical engineering which cost me around 3 lacks per year.
All the extra curricular activites here are all managed by students which give them tremendous experience of all the things.when it comes to cluba and sociteties, we have both technical + non technical clubs which keep students engaged in holistic manner which also lets people know each other and interact also.
The infrastructure and facilities provided by MUJ are excellent but the hostel is pretty expensive due to facilities provided, the hostel is one of the best in india and the best infrastructure one could ever imagine alltogether there aren't many colleges that can match up to their standards in terms of this.
Infrastructure is very good, dome building is very attractive and both the academic buildings are well built.classrooms have centralised Air conditioners and there are windows as well for cross ventilation
It can be better, faculties are not that good.dont know about second years but first years don't have good faculties,so the quality of teaching can improve.so according to me the curriculum is updated .
Placements are very good and avarage package is 6-7 lakhs.this year in SCIT,95 percent of students were placed and students from electronics and other branches were also placed.the college was very supportive
My cost of my course is 3,25,000 per year. It is lesser for students from other courses.hostel and mess fees are not included in this.but I think the course I'm studying is worth my money and hostel and mess facilities are also worth it.
Campus is also very good, there are almost all kind of facilities. There are many facilities we have a basketball court,a football ground,a tennis court,a music room, there is a jogging track and a swimming pool as well
You should experience hostel life once
With an 8.9k MET rank, there's a good chance you can get into the B.Tech IT program at Manipal University Bangalore, but it depends on the specific cutoff for that program and your category (if applicable).

Hello Vishal,
With a score of
121 in MET 2025
and
86% in PCM board exams
, here's a general analysis:
Predicted Rank:
A MET score of 121 typically falls in the 15,000 to 18,000 rank range , though this can slightly vary each year based on exam difficulty and student performance.
Since MET does not officially release detailed rank-score data, this estimate is based on past trends and analysis.
Chances for CSE at MUJ (Manipal University Jaipur):
CSE at MUJ is one of the most in-demand branches, and usually the closing rank lies around 8,000 to 10,000 .
With a predicted rank around 15,000 to 18,000 , getting CSE at MUJ is quite unlikely in the initial rounds .
However, you may have a
chance in the later rounds or spot rounds
if seats remain vacant or cutoff drops.
Recommendations:
Consider applying for branches like ECE, IT, or Data Science , which have slightly higher closing ranks.
Keep checking counselling rounds regularly for any updates or vacant seats.
You can also look at internal sliding options after first year, based on academic performance.
I would recommend you to use MET College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Scoring 82 out of 240 in the Manipal Entrance Test means your r ank is likely to be above 40,000, based on previous years’ trends. Unfortunately, this rank is quite low for CSE Stream at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), especially at the main Manipal campus.
Manipal campus (main): CSE cutoffs are typically under 3,000–4,000 rank.
Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) and Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) may have higher cutoff ranks for CSE — sometimes up to 15,000–20,000 or more.
