For admission to Engineering courses in Gujarat government college is done through GUJCET. 60% weightage in 10+2 percentile and 40% weightage is considered to prepare a merit list. But as you say that you have not scored well in GSEB board it is better to go for colleges in Rajasthan. You have domicile of Rajasthan and if you score well in JEE Main you may have chances of getting seat in choice of your college.

Hi,

Hello Aspirant,

According to your percentile your near about rank would be around 1.7 Lakhs. On the basis of this rank you can get MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur as you belongs to reservation category ST but you cannot get top branches like CSE, ECE and so on.

On the basis of reap merit list you can get branches like building and construction and likewise. You can check the REAP merit list by referring to the link given below :-

Hello Aspirant,

As per your percentile your rank would be near about 2 Lakhs. On the basis of this rank you are not going to get any of the top branch like CSE or IT but although due to an advantage of your reserved category ST you can get ECE, EE, ME or CE like branches in MBM Jodhpur.

I would suggest you to prepare yourself for second attempt of JEE-Main that is going to be conducted in month of July 2020 and try to hit the target of 92 percentile.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Hello,
You have good percentile but admission is done on the basis of rank. Many candidates have same percentile but rank is unique for everyone. This brings a big change in numbers.
If you have a rank below 50k then there is good chance that you'll get an admission. Previous year cutoff is not available for jee mains. You have reservation category so you will get more college option through categorical rank.
If you applied for July exam then you should prepare your best. It doesn't matter what it will happen.  Try to do your best so that you get better score then January session. Best out of two session will be considered for admission.
Hope it helps

Hello Aspirant,

According to your percentile your near about rank would be around 2 Lakh. On the basis of this rank you cannot get CSE branch in any of the college viz. RTU Kota or MBM Jodhpur.

As you belongs to the reserved category ST so you will get some advantage of it for sure. In order to get your seat confirmed in CSE Branch in above colleges you need to secure 92 percentile or more.

You should try to prepare for the above target and for this we can help you, you can attend our Mega Revision Marathon for JEE-Main July session fully free of cost through given link -

hello aspirant,

yes you can get CSE branch under the ST category but percentile and marks are different things if you have the cutoff marks than you are eligible for admission in both the college plus you also have to prove your caste by showing the original certificates at the time of counselling so please have them handy.

I hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,

As MBM Jodhpur is one of the top government college for engineering in Rajasthan. To get CSE branch in the said college you have to score 90 percentile or more as you belongs to reserves category hence you got advantage of it otherwise you should have at least 94 percentile or more.

From better preparation tips you can hit your target in JEE-Main July session.

You can also use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your college according to your percentile and category.

Hello,

Admission to B.tech in Rajasthan state colleges is done through REAP.If you want to get admission in RTU, Kota or MBM, Jodhpur you need to apply for REAP through JEE Main score. The admission is based on merit in JEE Main or Class 12 or Diploma. As you have secured a decent percentile in JEE Main you can apply for REAP.There isn't any other mode through which you can apply other than the above mentioned modes.

Hello.
As MBM Jodhpur is one of the prestigious college in India, so it's cutoff always goes high in terms of percentile, as it would be difficult to predict percentile cutoff because it vary  for every session of exam depending upon the number of candidate appeared for the exam, number of student who get marks less than and equal to your marks still according to the January session of exam if your percentile is 98 plus then you may consider your good chances in general category because it's rank always go under 5000 which will be compensate with 98 plus percentile after conversion but number of student appeared for the exam are variables so this percentile will also vary for the next session of exam, while for st category you may consider 88 plus percentile.
Best of luck.
