Hi Akash.

Predicting you admission into  good college like MNNIT just by your marks is difficult as the cutoff scores haven't been announced yet and will be announced after April's JEE Mains. If you provide your percentile, it will be easier to predict.

Still, with 150 marks in January's JEE Mains, you have chances of getting Biotech and maybe even Chemical Engineering in MNNIT. If you belong to UP, then your chances of getting a better branch are higher.

All the best.

Hello Aspirant.

Yes , You have a chance to get admitted into Motilal Nehru National institute of technology Allahabad.

But there are many factors behind the first factor is of you being an SC candidate and your home state quota also plays a major role in you getting this college.

But there might be a case where you'll have to compromise for your branch as you might not able to get your desired branch.

Best of luck !

As you got 97.86 percentile in Jee Main January Session 2020, you expected rank would be (100-percentile score) * (869010/100). If the no. Of candidates in April Session increases to 12,00,000 then your expected rank would be - (100- percentile score) * (1200000/100) i.e. almost 25,680. This would be your CRL Rank, we don't have category rankings yet. But based on previous years' cutoff, you can expect Civil engineering, mechanical, Production and Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology etc. Under OBC category home state quota.

Hello,
Your expected rank will be around 18522.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula given below
(100-your total percentile)*869010/100
869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.
In April session it is expected that 1200000 candidates will appear so your expected rank can calculated using the given formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

In 2019 a candidate(home state) belonging to OBC category with rank 1200 secured a seat in computer science engineering.
A candidate (other state) belonging to OBC category with rank 3630 secured a seat in computer science engineering.

Your category rank is expected to be around 3k-5k.So you may have chances of getting a seat in this college. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

You can predict the colleges in which you may get seat using our JEE main college predictor

You can calculate your rank in JEE Main Paper 1 using the formula:

Rank = (100-percentile)*(No. of students appeared for the examination)/100

As the no. of students appeared for Paper 1 (Jan) are around 869000, your rank will be around 5000. However as the no. of students in April changes, your rank will change according to that.

With this rank, there are good chances of getting IT Branch at NIT Allahabad. You can check the last years' cutoffs for this Institutes using the link given:

However, to get the list of all Institutes which you may get with this rank, kindly use the college predictor through the link provided below:

Agrim, you may not get admission in MNIT with this score. You haven't mentioned whether this score is of paper 1 or 2, but anyway, your Percentile is not enough.

For paper 1, your rank will be around 79,514. You can calculate it using the formula:
(100- your percentile)869010/100.

Here ,869010 is the number of candidates who appeared in JEE mains January session. If the number of candidates increase in April session then your rank will change.

For paper 2, your rank will be 10,031, using the formula:
(100 - your total score) X 112679/100

112679are the number of candidates appeared for January exam.

Now if you see previous year cut-offs, it is under 10,000 for Engineering and even less than 5000 for architecture, so you don't have any chances.
Kindly check the link below to see previous year cut-offs:
