NIT Allahabad hands down!

Don't get swayed by the location factor component. It nothing much to do with the placements.

Placements in India are mainly all due to Alumini contacts and by college Tag.

By MNNIT you get both. Since elstablished in 1952 and also the first NIT to provide CSE, its alma mater are well placed at the top notch positions in spectra of companies. Added that the NIT tag importance you'll get to know soon when you will be applying for Job switch.

According to your percentile, your rank would have been around 2 lakh mark which is not that bad but not good enough for MNIT,Allahabad.

As you are from obc category, you need to secure a rank of around 10000-15000 if you want a chance to get in any branch of MNIT,Allahabad.

See the rank u have secured might give u a chance in the MANIT ALLAHABAD foor the seats but only under home state quota to pursue ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under the btech courses. I m providing u a link for ur help.

Well I according to me, general EWS category wouldn't be having much effect or change in the ranking system as comparison to general category.

Still any sort quota has its own perks, so I believe you can consider a relaxement of upto 1200 ranks from the general category

What did I meant?

Eg. if general category student recieving a seat at 1000 then same seat EWS candidate can expect at 11200 rank.

Yes brother chanes infact quite remarkable to find a place at NITA or IIITA.

I believe you can get any branch at MNNIT A except CSE.

So if you were given choices to opt IIITA IT or MNNITA IT, I would recommend IIITA IT though both are good.

Hello student,

You haven't specified the category name in which you belong to as every category has differnet cutoff.

Assuming you to belonging to general quota, you won't get a seat in NIT Allahabad. Every course cutoff closes below 10k while you have  scored over 1.5L. You can go for other private colleges or semi government colleges in India.

EWS category reservation has provided for the first time in JEE Main Entrance Exam so it would be difficult to tell you about the admission possibilities as previous year cutoff is not available but with this rank the chances might be there to get a seat in NIT Allahabad for the core branches.
