1. NIT Jalandhar, Mechanical
2. VNIT Nagpur, Chemical
3. NIT

Basically You must have a preferred branch before choosing any college. But here you are confused between different branches. So sort out the branch first then go on with the college selection. This helps you out in opting the college more easily.My suggestion is to take either NIT Silchar

hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to tell you that in my opinion you should go for college over branch because at the end the goal of majority of the students is placement for which you need college of very good brand

I think your first should be IIIT Lucknow because it has better coding culture and placement. It ranks higher than NIT.

Then your second Choice should be NIT Jalandhar

- NIT jamshedpur

- IIIT Gwalior

Then others....

In the year 2019, about 80% of the students from the course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 10.5 LPA, and the lowest package salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. In the year 2018, almost 90% of the students got placed with the highest salary

All the institutions that you have mentioned were counted as premier institutions of India. You will get knowledge and exposure to industries in all of the colleges.

But first you need to choose your interest whether it is CSE or it is ECE.

By the way I'm adding

MTech is all about research and being in Nit Hamirpur is a great experience.

You have good options for PHD in reputed colleges like IIT, IISC etc. You will get preference being an student of NIT. if you have good relation with your guide then you will get More chances

As we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing CRL rank was 20494 for CSE branch in NIT Hamirpur under Home state quota for General category.

Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main  score at least 150+ marks out
