Hey aspirant,
Since you are getting mechanical in both these colleges, I feel you should definitely opt for DTU. It is a very good college and will provide you exposure to all facets and help you grow and analyze your strengths. A good culture overall and located at the prime of the city will enable you to get a number of opportunities. Therefore if you take my opinion go for DTU.
Hope this helps you.
Dear applicant out of NIT Hamirpur and MNIT Jaipur, I would suggest you to choose MNIT Jaipur as because in NIT Hamirpur except for CSE, other branches placement is not quite good. However in MNIT Jaipur Chemical Engineering branch median salary package is around 6-7 LPA. The Institution teaches updated curriculum, you would have necessary facilities like library, hostels, labs, sports facilities, wifi, gym, auditorium and Overall the college life would be comfortable and memorable as well

Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you ,NIT Silchar is ranked at 51st within the Engineering category while NIT Hamirpur is ranked 60th . The JEE Mains closing rank for NIT Silchar is generally lower than Hamirpur, hence it is tougher to get into Silchar. So you can choose accordingly.
Hope you found this answer useful. Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category
However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced
But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

Hope it helps you !
Thanking you !
Dear candidate if you consider about all three of the NITs, all of them have extremely well maintained infrastructure, well equipped labs and numerous Faculties the only difference you can make is based on placements. Now Electrical Engineering has good Placements in NIT Agartala, you can expect salary packages of 6-7 LPA, whereas in NIT Surat or Hamirpur branches other than CSE is not maintaining optimum level.

Hi,
The seat allotment of NITs depends on various factors like Gender, Home state quota, Category of student and Community of student. Based on these factors the seat is allocated by JOSAA. Following is the prev year opening and closing rank of NIT Hamirpur in 2020 for Home state students:
With 98 percentile, your CRL rank would be around 18000. With that rank you could get any Branches in NIT Hamirpur including CSE-ECE.
I hope this will answer your questions.

Hello,
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference which will comprise of all these factors:
The preference you should consider is:
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.
Good luck, hope it helps!!
Hello..
Basically You must have a preferred branch before choosing any college. But here you are confused between different branches. So sort out the branch first then go on with the college selection. This helps you out in opting the college more easily. My suggestion is to take either NIT Silchar or NIT Hamirpur. If you are interested in dual degree course then choose that or give a preference to 4 year computer science degree.
I am providing you the link where all the three colleges are compared, this helps you even more to select your college :
