Hello Lipsa!
If you are a delhi student then you should go with CSE in IGDTUW but if you belong to other state then you should go with CSE in NIT jamshedpur. However both provide excellent placement facility. The fees of IGDTUW is less than that of NIT jamshedpur. If you are interested in college life then you should get into IGDTUW but if you want to grab excellent education then get admission in NIT jamshedpur. You will get excellent faculty at NIT jamshedpur then at IGDTUW.
All the best ! Choose best as per your convenience.
Hello candidate,
You can always go to Mnit Jaipur. It is a much better college than jamshedpur. You will also be having a great college life at jaipur which will no happen in jamshedpur. The placements of jaipur are also good in comparing with jamshedpur.
IIIT Delhi is also good but it's fee is very high because it is private institute.. Also coding culture of IIITs are far better than many NITs If you are interested in CSE/IT then IIIT_H is the best option for you. IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Allahabad , IIIT Delhi are far better than NITs in terms of coding.
Mechanical is all about machines, their designs and structures, how they work etc. CSE is computers and coding. If you like latest technology and are interested in their working CSE is good. Both branches have good job opportunities.
In case of branch it is dependent upto you on which field you want to go.
I think CSE in IIITs will be better option than Mechanical in NIT Jamshedpur.

Hello,
The NIT Jamshedpur is one of the oldest NIT in India and has a great academic records with a lot of extra curricular activities for the students and a student friendly environment and also the Electrical branch is one of the oldest and quite demanding branch in India hence if you are looking for this both ie, field and college than it is quite best combo you can go with.
Thank you..
Both the colleges are good. But if you want to compare then I would recommend you to go for NIT JAMSEDHPUR Electrical Engineering. The reason behind this is provided below:

From Placement, Campus Life Aspect : NIT Jamshedpur
From Faculty, Research, Infrastructure Aspect : SVNIT Surat
Both are good NITs, I would suggest you to choose the One at your Vicinity. If Placement is your Only Concern, I believe NIT Jamshedpur is the better of two, with nearly 90-100% Placements for Mechanical Each Year, being located in the Eastern Manufacturing and Technology Hub of India.

Hello student,
See both of those colleges are very good. But if you want me to choose any of them I can tell about Birla institute of technology mesra. Which is also have a good rank and in a popularity enough. Computer science and engineering department is very good here. All the course fee is near about 5 lakh extra than NIT Jamshedpur, total 12lakh, but the placement rate is quite high near near about 92%, already rate may be fluctuated. Faculty Ratio is quite good here as well 1:40. The overall campus life is not too bad the faculties are awesome. Lots of top companies each and every year comes here for job placement.

Good Luck for your future!!
Facilities are not that good. The classroom is good. The library is old. The hostel facilities are not good. Food is okay. There are 3-4 canteens. Medical facilities are also good. Sports and games are also good. Infrastructure is not good. Almost every building is very old.
The facilities in our college are very good and classrooms are fully AC with wifi services. Hostel services are also very good and the quality of our hostels are also very good, the food served here is very good . Hostel rooms are very clean and water purifiers are also available there for all students. Sports facilities are also provided here for everyone.
Overall poor infrastructure. Even if some buildings are good they are not well maintained. Cleanliness is the major issue. Hostels are worst place to live. Entry of dogs is common and they will poop here and there inside the hostels and it will not get cleaned untill you pressurise the hostel committee. Most major issue is of drinking water, majority of students are having problems due to this. Grey hair, Hair Loss, hair thinning is the most common problem faced by the students.
