You should go with Nit Silchar because it has a better rating and ranking as compared to IIIT,Nit has a better infrastructure and facilities and is more older than IIIT so doing Civil from there will be better and even Civil Engineering has evergrowing industry buildings are always

National Institute of Technology , Jalandhar has a higher ranking according to NIRF as compared to National Institute of Technology, Silchar.

Also, placement wise also of NIT Jalandhar has been far better as compared to NIT Silchar, both offer and placements wise

Both are good colleges but according to NIRF Rankings web and student reviews  NIT Silchar is quite better compared to NIT Patna . let know some details about both colleges you get some idea .
