Yeah I am giving a brief overview for ECE degree in those all nits. National institute of technology are one of the best Government engineering colleges in all over India for you can get quality education and good placement in lower College fees.

1. NIT Silchar- the salary package offered is approx 6.5 lakh and the placement rate is overall good.
2. NIT Jalandhar- start from 3lakhs and can go up to 22lakhs.
3. NIT Jamshedpur the median salary packages approx 7.5 lakhs.
4. NIT Bhopal the medium salary package starts from 8 lakhs but the infrastructure is not to good according to the students.
5. Nit Durgapur- Median salary package is 7.5 lakhs and also the infrastructure is quite good.

So basically placement wise I can say that,

This answer is a very perspective oriented one. There is no doubt that there is more demand in the market for CSE branches, however even this is true that IIIT Agartala is a very new college and it will take it years to build a reputation in the industry before it starts getting respected.

If you want to keep your options open in other fields like banking, consulting or IT, then EIE at NIT Silchar is the clear winner. But if you want a core CSE degree from a good college, then IIIT Agartala is the way to go.

It totally depends on what you want to do in the future. If you want to switch to IT domain and just simple want to enjoy with a high paying package, then EIE is the way to go as it is very close to the computer science field. However if you want to go in the heavy industry sector or the manufacturing sector, then Mechanical is the right path. So make up your mind and take a decision as it will impact your life very much.

National Institute of Technology Silchar is a very renowned college and has a very good presence among the Institutes of National Importance. The placement season in NIT Silchar is a very bright time as the major recruiters come here to pick students for their companies. Unfortunately you won't be getting anything in National Instituted of Technology Silchar as you belong to General category and your rank is not up to the mark. However, you can apply to some other well known colleges which will provide you good exposure along with decent placements at the end of your program. Some of these are:

see both the nit are equally good. both the Nits provides almost the same facilities to their students.

As per the resources available, It shows that NIT SILCHAR,ASSAM IS BETTER THAN NIT DURGAPUR,WEST BENGAL.

The above suggestion as per the ratings given to these colleges.the rating of NIT SILCHAR is 4.2, and that Of NIT DURGAPUR is 3.7.

But NIT Durgapur provides more UG courses than NIT SILCHAR.

well in nit Silchar Overall placement is good for b tech having average package of 7.4 lakh but average package for cse as well as for ece is great. Around 100% of students are placed from the CSE branch of nit Silchar college. The highest salary package offered is 41.86 LPA. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA for the CSE branch. Top recruiters are Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Arcesium, Oracle, Samsung, etc.

well cse in durgapur is  also a good option. you can go for.

Regarding your query, the cutoff for Computer Science and Engineering in NIT Silchar in the year 2021 was 15557 for female candidates. And you stated your rank is 21529, so chances are a bit low.

But cutoffs vary slightly every year due to many factors, and you can try for CSE in NIT Silchar by putting it at the top of your list during josaa choice filling. If you get lucky, then you might get a seat there.

NIT Silchar offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, science, humanities and 11 other departments. It is really good in terms of placements. Around 145+ companies visited for placements for the batch 2021-2022. Around 522 students out of 892 students were placed (eligible students were 734).

The highest salary package offered was 41.6 LPA, average package offered was 7.23 LPA and the lowest package offered was 1.74 LPA. Top recruiters were Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Bajaj.
