As you have mentioned your scored in jee mains 2020 its a great score to get you admission into national institute of technology but national institute of technology warangal is among one of the top most institute as well as you are opting for electronic and communication branch which is second most opted branch after computer science so its cutoff is very high compared to rest branches so its difficult for you to get your choice branch in nit Warangal.

I would like to answer your query. NIT Warangal comes under the top 3 NITs of India and therefore the cut-offs are generally much higher. For getting a seat in CSE branch in EWS quota, you need to score more than 99 percentile marks and your rank should be lower than 500. All the best!!

I am afraid your chances for getting into NIT Warangal even through SC home-state category is pretty low. Although,there is a fair amount of chance for you in Biotech. branch.

PAIDIKALA YESUKRISHNA , If you want admission in CSE branch of any of the college: NIT WARANGAL, NIT CALICUT, NIT THIRUCHIRAPALLI, NIT SURATHKAL, NIT ROURKELA and IIIT HYDERABAD then you must be give the exam of JEE mains 2020 because all the mention colleges are required cutoff of JEE Mains.

And you know your expected marks then mention there because without marks it is impossible to say.

If the question would have been for Computer Science branch then definitely NIT Warangal is a better choice than DTU, but when we talk about Mechanical, DTU is better than NIT Warangal. NIT Warangal mechanical is one of the oldest branch. Moreover, if you reside in South India then go for NIT Warangal else go for DTU without any second thought.
