hi,
see the institute name which you have mentioned is both of are excellent in terms of placement, college infrastructure, extra curricular activities, course curriculum etc. however IIIT hyderabd has excellent project works and has excellent activities of coding and computer engineering research. iiit hyderabad is Ideal for those who want to enhance the skills and want to come for research work in future,. however what ever the college you may get it would be excellent choice for your careers.
Hello Aspirant,
According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 1.2 Lacs and on the basis of this rank and category you can neither get NIT Warangal nor NIT Surathakal because these both are the top NITs and hence there is much competition for these therefore the cut-offs are also higher then other NITs. Note that the above prediction is based on previous year's cut-off because cut-offs for this year has not released yet and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors. You can check out the previous years cut-off for both the NITs from the links given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-surathkal
However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your college more precisely based on your percentile and category :-
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello Aspirant,
If you ask me, Even though you fall under OBC category, It is quite difficult to get a seat in NIT warangal with marks below 140.
ALL THE BEST!!

Hello aspirant!!
CSE in warangal and surathkal are almost same and have really 0% difference in what they teach. So for academic purpose both are good.
Moreover you choose a college that makes you feel comfortable in all aspects.
Although MHRD rankings are lower for surathkal, it should not be take granted. Because many colleges like VIT are placed in top which suprised many people.
If you are a home state of karnataka choose surathkal.
If you are home state of warangal choose warangal.
If you want to develop technically or have some cool ideas to implement prefer warangal. We have a large alumni base and a strong support from them. We have innovation garage in our college where the ideas of students are implemented.
Doing CSE in NIT Warangal is a proud issue.
Hope this was helpful.
All the best.
Hello Aspirant,
According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 4.65 Lacs and on the basis of this rank it is impossible to get NIT Warangal even with the reservation category from which you belongs to which is ST. As per the previous year's cut-offs for NIT Warangal you should at least have 89 percentile or more to get a seat in NIT Warangal if you belongs to ST and deserves the Home State quota and cut-offs are bound to change evry year but this much variation is too big which is also not possible. For more details about previous year's cut-offs refer to the link given below :-

I would recommend you to go for some private colleges if you qualifies their eligibility criteria. I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your college :-
I hope this information helps you.

Hello,
We cannot predict the exact rank because cut off changes every year and it depends on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available. The cut off for NIT, Warangal will be higher so you need to score minimum 95 percentile in JEE Main September session. Cut off rank is different for each branch so your category rank must be below 4000.

we can't tell you exactly how much marks you need to get but we can help you provide a link , where you can check the trend of cutoffs for the particular college for different branches, you can check the opening and closing ranks for the same that will help you make the roundoff decision.

Hey there
Your rank is quite low for NITs for general category. NIT warangal is top NIT and thus its cutoffs are quite high and unfortunately you won't get NIT warangal.

Infrastructure is good Campus is very wide and has many shops Only thing I m slightly disappointed is at the quality of drinking water provided Also washrooms are in not in great condition Else okay
The college boasts a well-structured campus with excellent infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest teaching aids. The labs are well-maintained, supporting hands-on learning. The library is extensive and well-organized. The sports facilities are commendable.
