The Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology-Guna is responsible for conducting SLIET SET. SET is a gateway that allows the candidates to seek admissions into the list of courses offered at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology into various streams including Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Humanities and Management. Admissions through SLIET SET are offered to the following courses:

(a) Integrated Certificate-Diploma (ICD)      (b) BE       (c) MTech       (d) MBA        (e) MSc       (f) PhD

The exam is typically conducted in 5 different SETS namely, SET I/SET II/SET III/SET IV/SET V. These SETs are conducted for the following courses:

• SET I – For Integrated Certificate-Diploma (ICD)
• SET II - For BE
• SET III - For MTech
• SET IV – For MBA/MSc
• SET V - For PhD

You will be needing to take SET II for getting an admission to CSE.

SET exam will be conducted in the month of June and July. Details related to SLIET SET 2018 will be made available in due time.

Eligibility Criteria :

• For admissions to the BE programmes offered at SLIET, the candidates need to possess a valid JEE Main score.
• The decision of Admission Committee regarding equivalency shall be final and binding upon the candidate.
• In case of vacant seats after the admissions are accepted through JEE Main, the institute will conduct SLIET SET to fill the remaining vacant seats in the BE programmes.

Coming back to your question,Yes you are eligible for admission with CSE branch.Getting government college is not possible but ya you can get CSE branch in private colleges.

It is difficult to get admission with this marks in any NITs or SLIET Punjab. This year cutoff was approx 2 marks less than JAM 2017. Even after this reduction, You can't get admission NITs.

Cutoff for Any good NIT is above 25 Marks in Open category where as for OBC it is above 23 marks for SC/ST itis around 17 marks and above.

If you Belong to SC/ST Category, then you can get admission in NITs or SLIET Punjab.
