Hello,

To tell you about your exact admission possibilities is tough since Cutoff vary every year based on numerous factors.
SVNIT Surat cutoff for chemical engineering branch in ST category for the years 2019, 2018, 2017 & 2016 are as follows

2019 :- 2143
2018 :- 6190
2017 :- 2478
2016 :- 2181

So as you can see the cut-off numbers are different every year, so there's no way anyone can actually tell you about your exact chances until the cut-off is out but the range of cutoff might be near 2500 but it can change also.
To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main college Predictor tool.

hi,

see both of the course is different and has equal opportunity in market, IITS, nits  has excellent placement records and you would surely has excellent course curriculum, different opportunities while studying. now computer science mostly deals with logic's and reasoning, mathematics, programming languages. where electrical engineering has most topics related with physics, mathematics , electronics and semiconductor, electromagnetic theory.

so you have to choose which course Interest you the most and select accordingly.

Dear Aspirant,

Rs 1,20,000 is the course fee per year at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.Hostel fees is around Rs 35,000 per annum.

The SC/ST/PH students will get a complete fee wavier. The most ecnomically backward students(whose family income is less than 1,00,000)will get full remission of the fee.The other economically backward students(whose family income is below 500000)will get remission of 2/3 of the fees.

Thank you

Hey aspirant,

You should choose only that branch in which you feel you are comfortable with. Because of course you won't want to waste your four years of life in studying something in which you are not interested.

Also, the colleges are preferred on the basis of one's priorities.

However if we see the placement statistics of both the colleges then highest package offered by svnit is 39 lpa and average is around 4-6lpa.whereas in Nit calicut the highest package offered is 50 lpa and average ranges around 7-10lpa.

So, on the basis of placement statistics I would suggest you to go for Nit calicut but as I mentioned above the choice should be totally yours.

Hope it helps

Good luck.

Dear student,

As we know that every year the competition level are increasing very much in JEE mains and you have to secure a very good rank to get a seat in NIT or IIIT either you are a general category student or any other category student.

Now as you have secured 21649 rank from OBC category in JEE mains 2020, then there is no chance that you can get SVNIT Surat any branch.

Also note that SVNIT Surat doesn't offers Information Technology branch.

The last year cutoff closing rank for home state is students in SVNIT Surat in chemical engineering from OBC category was 15979 (for male candidates) and 16909 (for female candidates).

So as you can see there is no chance that you can get chemical engineering branch in SVNIT Surat.

Hello,

NIT Durgapur has marginally bigger highest package and average package but IIEST has greater median package which is of greater value . Placement percentages are more or less same . IIEST just became an Indian institute under the central government in 2014 while NIT came under central goverment in early 2000s.

I hope that helps you to make a wiser decision. Rest, the success in any field depends upon your own quest to knowledge, hard work & networking skills.      All the best for your future endeavors.

Hello,

No, you can't.
Admission in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) is based on JEE mains score for B.Tech courses. It does not accepts GUJCET score.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

Getting NIT campus will be difficult as your rank is too high for IT branch cutoff range. Your rank has to be below 30k to get IT branch.

for pandit DeenDayal petroleum University, Cutoff is still unknown.but there is high possibility to get admission.

You can try for Computer science engineering . it will be best option. IT branch is not available. You can apply for it's substitute branch Information and communication engineering.

Hello Aspirant,

In CSAB counselling both ranks are considered and the seat is allotted on the basis of your category rank because that is low as compare to CRL Rank but note that it is only when the seat for your respective category remains vacant.

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have some chances of getting in to SVNIT Surat but only in Civil Engineering and if you are female, as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-

Civil engineering - 20186 (Closing rank for Home state quota for EWS female)

For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-
