Both are excellent colleges and the branches are also somewhat equal in demand . In terms of placement Computer science (Cse) , is better and iiit gwalior is well established , but if you want to go for government jobs circuital branches have greater vacancies , although with Cs you can get better placements . NIT Surat also has a well established fame and and good alumni network . So decide on what you want to do after you graduate .

You have scored a very good JEE rank of 78951 and you would be able to get SVNIT electrical or CSE branch which 4768 and 2246 OBC rank respectively.So if your OBC rank lies in this range then you can surely get into SVNIT.But if you do not get admission do not get disheartened as there are two special rounds after 7 rounds and there are some major changes taking place in the rankings.Hence I would suggest you to keep some patience.So I would like to wish you the very best of luck for admission as well as jee advanced.May you get admitted in your desired college.

Seeing your rank, it is not possible for you to get admission into top 5 NITs in CS branch. But you could definitely get admission into the NITs after top 5. Also cutoffs for each year depends on the no. of students who have applied, your tank, percentile and category.

The infrastructure is quite good. The department has three different buildings, and all the labs required for the course, such as fluid dynamic labs, hydraulic lab , som lab , structure lab, EM lab and transporation lab.
Our college is quite old but then also infrastructure is good even now some construction work is going on of CRC and few department, hostel are also average where u get various facilities, there is dispensary also
The college infrastructure is good. There are many facilities available like sports centre, food courts, stationary shops, seminar halls and modern classrooms, auditorium, grounds for mega events or functions. The canteen food is good and economical. There are no issues related to infrastructure.
