You belong to OBC category. SVNIT Surat is one of the top NITs and hence the cutoff is high. The last year OBC category seventh round closing rank was 16,000 for Chemical engineering under homestate quota and it was 8,000 approximately for chemical engineering under other state quota. Therefore to get these ranks and to get admission in SVNIT Surat you need to get percentile above 94 approximately if you have homestate quota and if you don't have then your percentile should be above 96.5 approximately.

see I assume you are asking for gate counselling, see at this score it would be quite difficult to get the mtech seat in civil engineering in nit suratkhel or warrangel, or calicut since these nits comes under tier 1 nits. however for nit suratkhel you have chances in Environmental Science & Technology in obc category. in nit calicuit NSR ROUND you have chances in Materials Science & Technology.

In your case the rank comes out to be around 130351.

As per last year record i.e 2019 Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara  maximum cutoff was 33197 in Textile Processing. So there is no chance of get admission in  MSU Broda.

Next taking about Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya. As per last year record i.e 2019 maximum cutoff was 8462 in Civil Engineering. So there is no chance of get admission BVM.

And at last NIT Surat.  As per last year record i.e 2019 maximum cutoff was 23328 in Civil Engineering.  So there is no chance of get admission NIT Surat.

95 percentile makes you eligible to get admission in top NITs and being an obc category candidate gives you advantage. Hi ! Jasmin. If your percentile is 95.23 then your expected Rank will be greater then 43000, so maybe it can be difficult for you to get admission bin SVNIT Surat even after all Special Round. If you are in Home State Quata then there are little chances to Get admission in SVNIT. You can think about another good NIT as NIT Silchar, NIT D , NIT J etc. And for Nirma University this expected Rank is so low, but don't loose your hope. Try for another good NIT according bro NIRF ranking 2020 & 2019 as well.

I would like to share my opinion in this matter. See if you already have a 10+2 certificate in Gujarat board, that means there is no problem in state of eligibility. Now regarding the caste certificate of Rajasthan, you need to have in the given format and no matter where your caste certificate comes from. The authority doesn't checks at all about the state where you have received the category certificate. You just need to provide each documents in original format and thats all.

But Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat  offers B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech and PhD programmes it does not offer B.Arch degree.

I think you got 95 percentile instead of 95 marks .  If you have quota definitely Yes, you will get NIT surat . But I suggests you can also focus on 2nd jee main exam .

For 80 percentile your rank would be around 1,84,000. You could get few NITs and new IIITs. You may not get the the best NIT/IIIT or the best branches.

Even with category it wouldn't be possible to get admission in SVNIT, since the cutoff is very high nearly under 5000.
