See each of these colleges have their own pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages and own uniqueness. If I were at your place, I would've chosen NIT SURAT because it has great placement opportunities afterwards. And as far other activities are concerned, NIT SURAT has great name in sports too as I'm a sports liking person and it also organizes cultural fests and activities where you can bring out your talents.

Thankyou.

Hi

The base position required to get affirmation will be the cutoff of B.Tech for Nirma College. Competitors

having positions not exactly Nirma College B.Tech 2020 cutoff will have less odds of confirmation. The

specialists will think about specific elements while deciding the cutoff like earlier year's cutoff patterns,

number of seats, number of up-and-comers and so forth.

Competitors can check the cutoff of earlier year's for Nirma College B.Tech confirmation 2020 from the

tables given beneath.

So according to the rank and previous years cutoff you have chances in nirma college.

Hi Kaushlendra,

If you see in terms of faculty then I would suggest you to go for NIT Bhopal because the faculty members are way better then NIT surat at NIT Bhopal.

But if you look for placement then NIT Surat will lead here as the average placement of NIT Surat is 6-7 lpa for CIVIL whereas the average placement of NIT Bhopal for CIVIL department is around 5-6 lpa.

Hope this will help, please feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Thank You.

Hello Aspirant,

There is mixed reviews relates to MANIT Bhopal and SVNIT Surat so basically its 50-50. There is some issues with MANIT hostel life and on the other hand SVNIT has one of the best infrastructure among all the engineering colleges in India including IITs and NITs. MANIT Bhopal does not have that good infrastructure but academically its very good.
Overall placements in both the colleges are at the same level and if you are a studious student and can maintain a good grades throughout then you you can get good placement in of them.

I hope this helps

Hey,
If your ultimate goal is UPSC,then Engineering itself does not really matter. The basic eligibility criteria for UPSC is a graduation degree from any recognized University in India. So,you better pursue the course that drives your interest.
Both Vishwakarma Government Engineering College,Ahmedabad or Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology are going to give you a B.Tech degree. So,you can choose either as both are good in their respective places.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Hi Gairang,

If you want to do Engineering then you YES board marks are considered. For medical students board marks are not considered. So if you want to get a rank below 1000(which is good rank) then you must score 155+ in KCET and 95%+ in Boards or 165+ in KCET and 90% in boards.

Hope this will help, please feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Thank You.

Hello,

Your expected rank will be around 230809.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.

In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear then your expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

Your rank based on category is expected to be in between 5000-6500.In 2019 the cut off were as follows for each branch in SVNIT, Surat

  • Chemical: 2143
  • Civil: 2178
  • CSE: 798
  • EE: 781
  • ECE: 2982
  • MECH: 2072
  • Chemisty: 9747
  • Physics: 3795
  • Mathematics:4284

So, by considering this you may not get seat in engineering branches. If you want to get admission in NITs prepare for JEE April session and get a percentile above 85 or you may have chances of qualifying JEE main you can prepare for JEE Advanced if you want to get admission in IITs..However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

Now, the eligibility is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry in 2018 or 2019 or 2020.Candidates belonging to general category must have passed with 75% and for SC/ST is 65% from a recognized board or university.Check the eligibility criteria if you are fulfilling it or not.
