The nta score 85.46 you have secured in the jee main it is good.
But to your query about securing seat in the nit surat is a difficult task .because the predicted rank was not satisfied the cut off ranks of nit surat.

No you can't join as with that much mark you will get a very big rank and can't join if you have any reservations category and that categorical rank needs to be below 3k for top NITs and it ranges upto 50K for low rated NITs. As per the percentage you need 75% to join. So you won't be able to join.

You can go for government colleges for joining. They also provide good facilities and faculties for help and guidance for graduation. They also provide high scope and many extra curricular activities are also held every year.

Dear aspirant,

You're an ST candidate. So the competition is very very less for you. Again, if your home state is Gujarat, you can easily get into Electrical branch of SVNIT Surat with a 90 percentile. But I'd suggest you to go for IITs. Do well in JEE advance and you can easily get a seat in any reputed IIT.
