Hello,

When you compare Shiv nadar university and jaypee institute of information technology, SNU would be better than jiit. The infrastructure, hostel, campus, facilities everything is better in SNU as compared to Jaypee. However, placements of both the colleges are almost same. But overall SNU is better.

Hope this helps you

All the best for your future

hello mohitgadhvi2003

I hope you are doing good . I would glad to aware you that snusat exama and application form is two different things. Actually the thing is SNU give privilege to students who had score greater than 80percentile in jee mains , so they only need to apply through application form . Rest of the studnents who dont have good percentile, they need to go for SNUSAT entrance exam and personal intereview for getting admission in SNU . You can refer to following link for more details

Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

Dear Aspirant,

Honestly, there is no comparison between the two. Shiv Nadar University is a proven university climbing the ranking charts and being the first choice of many students with each passing year. In fact, just this month, the University has signed up with the government of India to be called an ‘Institution of Eminence’, an honor granted to just 10 private Universities throughout India. This status will free SNU from multiple regulations and allow it to collaborate with foreign universities to excel.

As you seem to be asking for good universities within NCR, I am also expanding the response beyond just Noida to the entire UP and NCR.  These are NIRF rankings done by the Government of India. I am listing out only the rank for engineering universities/colleges.

Best Engineering Coleges/Universities

All IITs, NITs, IIITs

Amity University Noida,         Gautam Budh Nagar    32

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology    Noida        96

Northcap University                Gurgaon    110

Manav Rachana University            Faridabad    174

Aligarh Muslim University             Aligarh        39

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad    48

Dayalbagh Educational Institute:         Agra        102

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Amethi        134

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur    183

Harcourt Butler Technical University,         Kanpur         166

Besides this, I would also recommend the following to keep them as a choice:

NIIT University, Neemrana – A very good, sound and academically inclined university

Manipal University, Jaipur: Its NAAC score has been one of the best in the region and has been rated A+. A definite choice for students who are open and mobile.

BML Munjal University – Slowly picking up in its learning out comes. Ranked very well in management.

Coming to Bennett University, it is a good one backed by the mighty clout of Times of India. However, it is yet to prove itself on learning outcomes and placements. Their MBA program hasn’t been able to break the glass ceiling yet even though a few batches have come out. In the circumstances, it is better that you exercise other options before exercising Bennett University as an option.

Hi Aspirant,

You can get into electrical, mechanical or civil at about 70-75 percentile.CS and IT can be expected at about 80 and above as per the last year's cutoff. You can expect IT and CS in Jaypee Noida at a rank about 54986 and Cs can be obtained at a rank of 90,000 even in the last rounds. You can expect all other branches in Jaypee at a rank more than 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs.

Hope it helps!!
