Placements: The placement is the primary benefit you will get at Chandigarh University. About 85% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Chandigarh University:-

Placements: 100% placements are there the highest package was 36 LPA Average package was 4-6 LPA the lowest package was 3.1 LPA Amazon, qualcomm, zs associates, Hp, etc. There were 400+ companies Internship was for 20% companies including cognizant, Capgemini, virtusa Software developer, quality assurance analyst, bigdata analyst.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library all facilities are available. Quality of food was average, and canteen was there, medical facilities are good, sports and games were also there. Infrastructure is well Maintained and it is a huge campus with a lot number of canteens.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, teachers are cooperative and understanding. Yes, curriculum is up to the mark Semester exams were average level, pass percentage is according to the highest marks obtained and also you can easily reach out to the teachers to help .

LPU:-

Placements: The college offers 100% placements for B.Tech computer science courses. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA.Microsoft, Amazon, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. Around 80% of the students got internship programs. There are many other specialised courses like AI and ML. Roles offered are as full-stack development, data science, etc.

Infrastructure: All the infrastructure facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, etc., are available. The mess is good and they serve good food. Sports facilities provided are amazing. hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to inform you that chandigarh university will be the better option than shiv nadar university . Its holds 51 rank in nirf ranking . It has well organized infrastructure and non-smoking green campus. Labs are very much updated with latest technology which is very beneficial for students in practical learning . Faculities are also very well experienced and motivates all category of students. Average package goes around 7 lakhs and highest goes upto 35lakhs which is quite fascinating for placement scenario

Your question is not complete, i.e. you have not really mentioned based on what criteria you want these colleges to be sorted.

Nevertheless, going from a generic perspective i.e. quality of education, state of art lab, campus life and most importantly placements, I would give you some insights.

Now, the most important thing here should be your passion i.e. choose the branch that really inspires you because sooner or later you'll become bored taking a discipline that you don't like.

However, if you do not have any choice of branch and placement is your priority, then go for CSE.

Comparing the colleges you have shortlisted, SRM Chennai (Ramapuram / Vadapalini as you said not KTR) seems to be the best choice. However, in this case your campus life will be greatly compromised because unlike the KTR campus, Ramapuram and Vadapalini are not that good.

And if college status matters to you more then go for VIT Vellore (any day) and also the campus life there is pretty good (best amongst the ones mentioned in your list).

Keep your priorities straight and choose wisely.

Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology:-

Placements: Placement is pretty good. They offer a decent average package and almost all the students are placed in esteemed companies. Top companies are Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte and many more. It is a good return of investment for all the students.

Infrastructure: Hostels are well managed, clean and pretty hygienic compared to regular engineering college standards. The Wi-Fi services are good but not great. The food available in the mess is hygienic and full of nutrients. The cafeteria is one of the most happening places on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty is a mixed bag. Some of them are very cooperative and understanding but on the other hand some of them do lack quality. Course curriculum is the standard engineering curriculum followed by majority of engineering colleges all over the country.

Chandigarh University:-

Placements: More than 90 percent of students were placed in the course. The highest package was of INR 36 Lacs offered by Arcesium while average package stood at 8.7 Lacs. The to recruiting companies were Arcesium, adobe, Zomato etc. The internship opportunities are good like internship in cloud computing in Ezmata technologies. Marketing and sales executive intern and many more.

Infrastructure: Chandigarh University is well-equipped with wi-fi and infrastructure is quite good in the university. The library is good you can find almost every book there. The classrooms are also neat and clean. There are all type of hostels- 2 and 3 sweaters and they to are well-equipped with wi-fi, gyms, salons for both boys and girls.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful and are qualified, the teaching quality was fine. The course curriculum was relevant, also there were some interesting subjects like artificial intelligent, IOT etc. The semester exams were pretty easy and an average student can easily get more than 7 CGPA.

Yes, surely if you can get a good rank in JEE mains next attempt then you can request your college authorities to change the branch. However they may or may not allow. If there will be vacant seat in your desired branch then they will surely allot a seat in that branch but if not then you wll have to persuade them.

Shiv Nadar university is a 300 acre campus with all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. All the closed spaces are fully air conditioned and the Wifi connectivity is fairly decent all over the campus.Most of the classrooms are equipped with a projector,screen and a green/white board.Everything is hygienic and well maintained except for the restrooms,sometimes. The quality of teaching is decent and the placements cell is quite active. From building resume to preparing for interviews they prepare you well.
