the classrooms of SRM were not so good there were no air conditioners, the sports centers were not fully updated as per time the equipment's are old and damaged the food was hygienic but the taste was not good.
As I was pursuing my B.TECH in computer science and engineering, the faculty were average not too good not too bad. but our curriculum was up to the date. yes, the study of BTECH was helpful to me and made me job ready.
As I did my B.TECH in computer science and engineering the course was for total four years which were divided in total 8 semesters and the average salary package which SRM offers is INR 6 LPA, and the placement were difficult to get as per the competition.
the course I did was B.TECH in computer science and engineering which costs me INR 10 lakhs for the entire course and the average salary package they offered was INR 6 LPA which was quite good but the facilities they provide are not worth the money we pay.
the SRM university is at a very safe location, all the necessary and FMCG products were available in nearby locality. there were hospital nearby in the localities in case of any emergency in the college. they also have fests to enjoy with friends.
its an average college to do your future studies.
Definitely all the necessary infrastructure is very good and will maintain it is really suitable for me to study here and to be a part of this universities . Really love this university . The classes have good Wi-Fi as well as smart classes .
Since I mean a BTech 2nd year from my perspective all the teacher who are teaching me really good they all are PhD holder as well as they are very friendly nature . Teachers the current market requirement as well as theory thing .
Placement drive given by my college is really great there are very large company come here for the placement drive . Bhai College provide the highest package of 17 lakh lpa . This kind of packages is really good for the college image .
Srm institute of technology is having a decent infrastructure with all the necessary facilities available being available as required by the students.College is having air conditioned classrooms and huge auditorium
Srm institute of technology is having well upgraded academic structure as per industry trends. The curriculum makes you ready to work in ever changing job environment.Classes are taken on regular basis by teachers
Srm institute of technology is well known for its placements with students managing to secure a job at the end of their 4 year btech program. It is having an active placement cell with many mncs visiting the college for recruitment
Srm institute of technology is having high fees when companies to other engineering colleges of the country which makes its an average in terms of value for money. The fees for most programs is more than 20 lakhs
The best part about srm institute is its campus life. The environment is peaceful with students engaging in various co curricular activities and there are actively rub clubs and societies in the college
Go for this college if you unable to get into iits nits or any other top college of the country
Infrastructure is good but campus feels a little overcrowded. Labs , auditoriums, sports facilities are nice.Hostels can be a little bit better based on how much price is to be paid. Rest all suffices basic needs.
Curriculum followed brings the best out of you and . I am studying Computer Science and Engineering and the curriculum makes sure that we stay updated including coding platforms into the picture and various hackathons are organized.
Placements were a down this time maybe due to the ongoing recession but other than that fair chances are available for people who want to work hard. You need to keep focus on thing that are important and grab every opportunity relevant to you.
The college has mostly decent infrastructure, however most buildings need to be repainted and some of the equipments in labs are quite defective, for example in physics lab. The equipments are quite old and need to be replaced.
For my course, i would say that so far the teaching quality has been pretty lax. Teachers often do not arrive on time, and some even refuse to clear doubts properly. Some even push us to study the material by ourselves instead of properly doing their job.
From what ive heard, placements are pretty good so long as you work hard for it. Placements often go to those who have a good academic record and who are sincere in what they do, so its basically an individual’s effort that determines placements.
Im paying approx 1LPA for my course but i feel like im not getting my money’s worth due to the negligence of teachers, and their superiority complexes that they project onto the students. Its also due to the fact that lab equipments are poorly managed and most of them are old.
The campus life is pretty fun, and the campus is quite big and several activities and events take place quite often. Many festive events lighten the mood of students very well, and the campus itself is heavily guarded with guards.
College Infrastructure of SRM University ,Chennai Campus is one of the best and support various academic, administrative and extracurricular activities.Classrooms in University Building and in Tech - park are amazing and are fully equipped with e-boards and projectors.
I am currently pursuing my B-Tech in SRM University, near Chennai as Computer Science and Business Systems and Quality of teaching is amazing and follows an updated curriculum which is in-line with current job scenario.
Placements of SRM University In recent years has been amazing as it is a top private colleges of India especially for students who are studying Computer Science and Computer Science with Specializations.Almost every one who sits for Placements ends up getting Job in recent times.
It is worth paying a hefty amount as their is a good return of investment especially for Computer Science students and Computer Science with Specialization. SRM University is full of diversified people and with different mentality and students can learn a lot from other people by joining clubs, events etc.
I personally had a great Campus Life experience as i have greatly utilized my college resources. The best feature of College campus could be events such as Technical events conducted by Aarush Team for all the branches of Engineering.Student could engage in activities such as cultural and art events.
SRM University is simply amazing.
The college infrastructure of srm university has been historical. The place has very well maintained buildings. The buildings are well maintained and keep on renovating on regular basis. SRM has around 9-10 building with all departments included.
The course i had opted was computer science. The faculty and the resources which were given to us were all well maintained. The faculty was very helpful and well educated in every corner of aspects. They have no discrimination on male female staff.
The placements of the university was not as it should be. The expectations of the placements were not fulfilled as promised. According to the education provided the placements were not to the standard promised by the university l.
The classrooms are quite furnished, with facilities and lab equipment, but, floods are quite prevalent in Chennai. For this reason the infrastructure is really bad. With all the campus getting flooded badly.
I am studying Bachelor of Computer Science right now, the quality of teaching is really high with teachers having really great technical knol and concept clearity. Yeah I would agree, the curriculum is quite updated with new cutting edge technology and knowledge.
Placements are quite decent in our campus, with equal opportunities and highest package of 57 lakhs. With 85 to 90 percent of students getting a placement, achieving a an average package of 7 to 8 Lakhs LPA. Most students get a job and college support is quite noticeable throughout the process.
My course costs 4 lakhs per year. Which is according to me quite worth it because seeing the average placement of 7 lakhs pays of the entire fees within 2 to 3 years.
My campus is really nice with many extra co curricular activities. However, only two factors are challenging, the mess food and infrastructure is surely bad and not advisable for anyone to take up, but some sacrifice will help me in the future.
No, thank you.
Yes the college has all the infrastructure.Yes all the facilities are used well yes the living space is clean and food is hygiene yes I feel everything is good and nothing bad about this college so yes that's all upto I studied.
I am a btech student and i am very interested in Mechanical Engineering technology.Yes everything is up to date and i enjoy the environment and the college is a interesting place after class as campus is beautiful and charming.
Yes mostly all the talented people get placement those who are hardworking and planning to go to tcs.yes everything was smooth as cake and yes I feel Everyone should try and get a good package as a fresher it's easy.
Yes the college infrastructure is very good it's according to the Indian educational standards and trying to be a global leader in up coming years and also it's interesting to know everything is there let's see what else they might offer in future.
Our academics are good. But there an issue no one is interested to utilise the resources but it's okay teaching is good everything is understandable yes curriculum is updated but the current director doesn't seem to be so friendly.
Yes placement is a good easy an a learning experience. It gives you an insight how selection happens but won't disclose the company i am placed in as a privacy concern but the college takes cares well that it's student get something or the other.
Hello,
If I were choosing between these colleges, I would generally prefer MIT Manipal, LNMIIT, SRM KTR, and JIIT before SOA.
That doesn't mean SOA is a bad college. In fact, it's a decent option with good infrastructure and placements, especially for CSE-related branches. But when compared to MIT, LNMIIT,

With 75–80 marks in AP EAMCET and 582/600 in IPE (around 97%) , you have a strong board score, which will help in the rank calculation.
Based on recent trends, you can roughly expect a rank somewhere in the range of 8,000–15,000 , though normalization and your specific shift
