VSSUT (Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology)  has Engineering, MCA, MSc, PhD Programs, In this University, No Program has eligibility criteria as CAT (Common Admission Test) Exam. To apply admission in any program you require to write either of these exams which includes

• OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination)
• IIT JEE(Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Entrance Examination)
• Gate (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam
• NIMCET - NIT MCA (Common Entrance Test) .

These exams will get you admission in VSSUT. CAT exam are only applicable for MCA program only in the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Hope this information helps you and I tried my best to clarify it .

As you have mentioned that you want to know about the minimum score required in jee to clear vssut burla. So let me tell you that the admission is done through ojee counselling.

So, as per my knowledge the cut off for cse branch usually stays under 40k-50k and the cut off for core branches generally stays below 70k but it depends on certain conditions like number of candidates applying for counselling.

Vssut burla doesn't disclose its official cut off in the website neither it is available in the Google. But as per my knowledge the cut off should not be less than 40k rank for the computer science and engineering.

For it branch it generally stays under 1L. But it can vary depending on the basis of certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the counselling, number of vacant seats in college.

Considering you as a Odisha home state candidate then may be you have chances for vssut burla for lower branches though like production engineering but you have good chances igit saranag as the cut offs are low there.

As you have mentioned that you have got 70 percentile in jee mains and taking into consideration that you are from obc category, so let me tell you that your predicted rank would be somewhat around 2.5L.

It is very difficult to predict what exact cut off would be there for ojee as it depends on certain factors like number of candidates applying for it,number of seats vacant, previous years cut off. But as per my knowledge it is a bit difficult to get cse at this percentile as the cut off is a bit high.

As per the  percentile mentioned by you in Feb shift your General rank between 246089 - 175204. There is a very less chance you can get any VSST cutoff for last year was 61584 rank. You can try out for private college in your home state where you will get your desired branch.

But there is fair chance yo can get private college on your desired branch.
