Veer Surendra Sai University of technology Sambalpur is a good state engineering college with overall n i r f ranking of 119.

It is  better to choose VSSUT, Burla because although KIIT and VSSUT have their own brand name, but what matters is the legacy and ROI in which Burla excels.

In VSSUT, if you get CSE regular course, you have to spend 112K for 4 years only, as Hostel fees and odd semester fees is 15k while even sem fees is 13k. So you spend hardly 2.4 lakhs for 4 years total i.e course + hostel fees and here placements for CSE is nearly 90%, rest 10% are those who are having huge number of backlogs, or go for M.Tech or MBA. So ROI is 100%, and average package is 4.5 - 5.5 lpa, recruiters are Mu Sigma, Intel, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Delloite, HCL etc.

Coming to KIIT,  the course fees of KIIT for one year is more than the total fees of VSSUT for 4 years, i.e 3.4 lakhs only for course fees for 1 year in KIIT and 50k for 1 year hostel fees. So overall you spend 15.6 lakhs and  you may not get a decent job, rather end up getting a job of 3.6 lpa in Infosys/TCS/Wipro etc. Your ROI is less than 20%.

In the end, VSSUT is not a brand , its a legacy since 1956.

VSSUT Burla  offers admission through JEE Main ranks. You will have to qualify JEE Main to be eligible for admissions into the institute. After securing JEE Main ranks, you will have to apply through OJEE for admissions into VSSUT Burla .

for Computer Science and Engineering in 2019 opening rank is around 33k and closing rank is 50k

Information and Technology in 2019 opening rank is around 88k and closing ranks is around 1lac

Yes, definitely you will get civil engineering branch in PMEC sambalpur but i will prefer you to go for IGIT SARANG. You can also get lower branches in colleges like cet or burla.

No i dont think so because BURLA is a well reputed college and the cutt off is very high. But you can definitely get lower branches in BURLA and please appear for the sp[ecial examinations conducted by BPUT for direct entry . You can also apply in CET and IGIT SARANG.

Veer surendra sai university of technology is an UGC approved University located in Burla, Orissa. It was established in the year 1956. For getting admission in this college you have to follow the following procedure:

• You have to write and qualify JEE Main examination.
• After getting the results apply for counselling in the ODISHA-JEE (OdJEE) MAIN SITE.
• After counselling based on the merit list u will get a seat in VSSUT Burla.

Hello student I'm sorry to inform you but you're not eligible with 73 percent for VSSUT as eligibility criteria says - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board. Admission is based on marks obtained in Jee main.

5 years Integrated M.Sc course at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is not a Self finance course.
