I got 1,51,777 Rank In JEE MAIN 2018 but I got 65% in +2 exam . Can I got a seat in VSSUT .

Hi Anshuman,

To get into VSSUT, you need to have a rank of below 2,00,000 in JEE Main. You are therefore eligible to get a seat in VSSUT. The departments like Metallurgy, IT, Chemical, Electrical and Civil Engineering would be available to you. Mechanical, CSE and ECE usually take candidates upto around 90,000 only. For any other query, feel free to ask.

With JEE rank of 192000 is there a chance to get admission in VSSU

Hi IPSITA,

Yes you can get a chance at the branch of production engg,metallurgical and materials science engg,chemical engg and B.Tech Civil Engineering + M.Tech Structural Engineering as well witha general category rank 192000 in VSSU.

I have 2625 general rank in ojee , 95174 obc rank in jee main and 70% mark in +2 can I get any branch in vssut,burla?

Hello Barsha,

It actually depends on which branch you're choosing to get into. Core branches like Mechanical, Electrical, CSE have high cutoffs most probably within AIR 80k - 90k but then you need to have atleast AIR in between 2,00,000 in JEE (mains) to get into any other branch as well. If you have AIR towards 1,80,000 then you can get into Production, IT, Chemical, Metallurgy, Electronics, Civil departments aswell.

Hi Anonymous,

Currently, Odisha has started the OJEE examination so all the state government colleges will take admission through that only. Still, if you get through JEE MAINS rank then yes you can get branch in VSSUT.

I am sorry but the cutoff rank for Travancore engineering college for civil and mechanical courses is within 53000 that means one who want to take a admission in any of these courses in this College should have a rank under 53000.
But if you want to know about vssut,burla the closing rank was 142511 for general category for civil while for mechanical it was 61049. So according to this data you have fair enough chances for getting a seat in civil engineering.

Your chance to get this college little biy less.
But you can try in this college.
According to previous year cut off there are about to 316000 approx.
You should try in other college or top private college.

Wi-fi is speed. The labs are good and the classroom look like heaven and library is like a wonderful nature. The food in the hostel is good but according the students mind set it will be. The canteen is good and there is a dispensary also for medical purpose. There is availability of sports.

It is a good college Wi-Fi is enabled in the hostels. The laboratories are very good and the classrooms are not well-maintained. The library is also very good and it is very well-maintained. Food quality is not good, and the canteen is good. The sports and games facility are provided and students can involve in it.

Yes, hostel and college campus is fully Wi-Fi. Lab, classrooms and library also have internet.Good qualities of food is provided to us in our hostel and canteen also. Medical services is also near to us. Sports and game facility also provided by the college. Pleasant nature around the campus.
