Akash Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET), Bangalore, is one of the prestigious institutes offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and management. The objective of the admission process at AIET is to choose deserving candidates through different national/state entrance examinations. For admission to undergraduate engineering courses, mainly two of the following scores are considered, namely, the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) and Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). These examinations usually take place in May-June and their results are published shortly thereafter. The selection of candidates for postgraduate MBA admissions is done through the scores of any one of the accepted Management Entrance Examination-National: CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, XAT, and KMAT. Admission under MCA programs is mainly through the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).
The basic eligibility criteria to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programs include successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
