AIEMS Bangalore Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences (AIEMS), Bangalore, is a modern-day elite institute of Bidadi Industrial Town in Ramanagaram Taluk, Karnataka state. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in various subjects of engineering and management. ADIME follows a well-planned procedure for admissions that considers many entrance examinations prescribed for different programs. For undergraduate engineering programs at AIEMS, scores from these two major entrance examinations are considered: Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET). These are annual exams and COMEDK UGET will be held on May 9, 2025.

The admission cycle to AIEMS usually begins after the results of these entrance examinations have been declared. Then, prospective candidates are required to apply through the respective counseling procedures of KCET and COMEDK UGET. The college, however, provides a management quota for various programs which is yet another mode of admission. The admissions will be based on KPGCET, which is for the MBA program at postgraduate level. Admission selection against ranks is made on the merit list based on this examination. Basic qualifying criteria for undergraduate courses in engineering are the completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. For MBA and other postgraduate courses, a relevant undergraduate degree is needed. 

Application Process

The following describes the application process with respect to the programme offered by AIEMS:

For B.E. Programs:

1. Sit for KCET or appear for the COMEDK UGET entrance examination.
2. Register for KCET or COMEDK exam counseling after the results are announced.
3. Choose AIEMS and preferred courses while undergoing counseling.
4. Report to AIEMS for document verification and admission formalities, if boarding a seat.

For MBA Program:

1. Write the Karnataka PGCET examination.
2.  After results are announced, register for the PGCET counseling process.
3. Eligible candidates will select AIEMS during the counseling.
4. Complete admission formalities at AIEMS if allotted seat.

For Diploma Programs:

1. Check the AIEMS website or directly contact the admission office for the specific application process related to diploma programs
2. Complete the application form with required documents.
3. Attend the institute-level selection process if applicable.

The documents needed for admission generally include:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates
• Entrance exam scorecard (KCET/COMEDK UGET for B.E., PGCET for MBA)
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size photographs
• Any other documents specified by the institute at the time of admission.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.E. Programs: AIEMS offers a number of B.E. courses like Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program. Admission to these courses is on the basis of KCET and COMEDK UGET. The total number of seats under these B.E. programs in AIEMS is 360, with Computer Science and Engineering having the highest intake of 120 seats.

MBA Program: AIEMS offers 60 seats for the MBA program. Admission is dependent on the candidate's Karnataka PGCET examination performance. The institute reserve the right to conduct additional selection procedure for shortlisted candidates, as per policy.

Diploma Programs: AIEMS offers the following diploma courses such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Each of these diploma programs has an intake of sixty students. A separate admission process is followed for diploma courses that is different from the degree programme admissions and would be most probably based on the state-level diploma entrance test or 10th standard marks.
