AIEMS Bangalore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College hostel facility includes fully equipped Hostel blocks with separate hostels for boys. Both hostels are situated in lush green surroundings, offering a wonderful view from all the rooms. Hostels for boys are situated within the campus. The Boys' Hostel would accommodate approximately 110 students during this phase, featuring facilities for a common study and library area, a TV room, an Internet room, and an indoor play area. A caretaker’s room is also accommodated on each floor. Each of the students would have a combined Bed-Study unit designed on the lines of those found in a few foreign institutions, consisting of a Study table, a Wardrobe, a Bookrack, and a Single Bed with individual lighting and Electrical socket points with Computer points. Each Room will have 3 member/5 members' accommodation. With all these facilities, it is proposed to inculcate the value of ‘SAHAJEEVANA’ among students. Round-the-clock security (24/7) within the campus.

The Girls' Hostel would accommodate approximately 93 students during this phase, featuring facilities for a common study and library area, a TV room, an Internet room, and an indoor play area. A caretaker’s room is also accommodated on each floor. Each of the students would have a combined Bed-Study unit designed on the lines of those found in a few foreign institutions, consisting of a Study table, a Wardrobe, a book rack, and a single Bed with individual lighting and Electrical socket points with Computer points. Each Room will have 3 member/5 members' accommodation. With all these facilities, it is proposed to inculcate the value of ‘SAHAJEEVANA’ among students. The college has a large collection of books relating to various branches of Engineering, Management, and General books. There is also a facility for students and staff to go through previous question papers made available in the Library whenever required. At present, there are 2777 titles, 11198 volumes, 72 journals, and many reference books prescribed as per the VTU scheme and syllabus. The Library is fully computerized using the EASYLIB software for all books, Journals, and Identity cards that have been bar-coded.

The College provides a good sports facility with personalized coaching in various games. Both indoor and outdoor play areas for each game.2 full-time trainers.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students.

The college has a canteen serving delicious hot food, open from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm, which is available for the benefit of students to indulge in throughout the semester. An additional food court to cater to multiple tastes is also available within the campus for the convenience of students coming from different parts of India. The menu in the canteen includes delicious breakfasts, including Idlis, Dosas, Puris, Parathas, and Uttappams for a lip-smacking experience. Lunch is a nutritious mix of unlimited full meals for the ever-growing appetite of our young students. As the canteen is managed by the college, food is subsidized to suit all pockets and is quite reasonable. Evening tea/snacks and dinner for hostelites complete the canteen activity for the day, with a nightcap consisting of hot milk for the hostility. The spacious canteen is hygienically maintained to ensure healthy, safe, and affordable food for all students.

The college has buses running on eight different routes available. There are pick-up and drop points for the convenience of passengers coming from various suburbs, including places like Ramanagar, Chennapatna, JP Nagar, Jaya Nagara, Kanakapura, Jalahalli, Sunkadakatte, Banashankari, Vijayanagar, Basaveshwara Nagara, Rajaji Nagara, Kengeri, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, etc. Charges are dependent on the distances and based on various stops. From Bidadi Cross, a regular shuttle service is also available to match college timings. Buses come from various routes and as far as 50 km from the college. A good tar road right up to the college facilitates smooth movement, even in the chaotic traffic of Bangalore. The same buses pick up Faculty en route to college, ensuring comfort and discipline along the way.
