Bal Krishna Institute of Technology, Kota Admission Process

Bal Krishna Institute of Technology (BKIT), Kota is an institution approved by AICTE offering various B. Tech programs. The admission procedure aims to allow qualified candidates to enroll in the engineering programs. The main entry for students in this institution is through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) or the college also accepts scores of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).

Normally the admission schedules are also in line with those of the REAP and JEE Main. Therefore, prospective students should brace themselves for these entrance examinations, which normally take place in the first half of the year. The REAP counseling process and JEE Main result announcements usually occur in the months leading to the academic year, which starts in August-September.

The JEE Main score will be the basis for admission at BKIT for 'NAT' based entry at the National level for Engineering admission. Students need to appear for the JEE Main examination and register for the counseling procedure of REAP for the final admission as well on the performance in these exams and the subsequent counseling rounds.

Application Process

1. To qualify for admission, candidates must write the JEE Main examination, which is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

2. Register for the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP).

3. Fill in the REAP application form accurately with personal as well as academic details.

4. Upload required documents, including:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates

  • JEE Main score card

  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Passport-size photographs

  • Valid ID proof

5. Pay the application fee through the prescribed mode.

6. Participate in the choice filling during REAP counseling, selecting BKIT and desired B.Tech program.

7. Wait for seat allotment based on rank and preferences.

8. If allotted a seat, report to BKIT for document verification and fee payment.

9. Complete final admission by submitting all required documents and paying the fees.

B.Tech

Programs offered:

  • Computer Science and Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Automobile Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

Admissions are done through the scoring of either REAP or JEE Main. The seat distribution is as follows:

  • 30 seats for Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

  • 15 seats each for Automobile and Mechanical Engineering.

Total fees for each B.Tech program: ₹280,000
