Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma in Computer Engineering: The intake of the program is approved at 90. Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination (10th standard) and follows the TN DTE norms. This course even has a second shift, which is an additional intake of 30 students.
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: The course has an approved intake of 90 students in the regular shift and 30 students in the second shift. The candidates are thus selected based on 10th standard examination marks under the guidelines of TN DTE.
Diploma in Garment Technology: This course has the unique feature of admitting 90 students in the regular shift. Admission is on merit and follows the standard polytechnic admission process in Tamil Nadu.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Admission to this program is 90 students during the day shift and another group of 30 students will be permitted under the second shift. Selection is purely based on the academic marks recognized in the 10th standard.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Affected intake is 60, and selection is carried out on the basis of 10th standard marks as well as under the structured process laid by the TN DTE for admission.
Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering: A very specialized program with an intake of 40 students. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination and in accordance with the TN DTE norms.
